Chillicothe Sub anyone?

But it's not on the DLS. How did it come out?
I'm looking forward to seeing how Rugrat is doing. I wish I could make clean layouts like this.

 Claude

I would also be really interested in this route, I might even be prepared to pay a whole £1 for it! (Only kidding - I'm not that cheap!):hehe:

I took a long break on this route but lately I've been doing some work on it, mostly trying to get it to look right with a lower polycount (which is NOT easy). I might see about posting a few screens later today to show the new look...

Payware or freeware?... hmmm... I am intending on releasing the portion i'm working on now as freeware (Galesburg IL to Chillicothe IL).

if i ever extended it (to ether Fort Madison IA or Streator IL) i would probably have to go Payware because of the time I would have to spent on it (I set my standards way too high)

@nstrainz, you seem to have bitten off more than ANYONE can chew, what are your standards?

Rugrat:)

Just went for a short drive....

that first one is the latest look for the sub, just did it after my last post.

Now for a few specs of that train...
16900 ponies spread over 22 powered axles (thanks Frank!)
120 cars - 2.4km long - 8226t
The run - max speed 120kph - max grade 1/70

and most of the run spent in notch 8!

lol thats why i chose the chillicothe sub up edelstein hill

Nice trailer park.
Or Mobile Home Estate, in California.:D That dirt road looks incredible. I'm very impressed.

what your seeing now is just a taste, kind of like nikos's west key extension, after all I do have an education to see too...

I would compare the Section Im planning on doing to Dermmys Clovis sub, high speed heavy-haul freight with lots of double track strait track but ALOT more scenery to do, so when you think of the time it took dermmy to release that, multiply it a few times...

I try not to think about it at times...

Rugrat;)

N O

theres still a hugh amount to be done, and i dont work at a continuos pace (plus we all get trainz burnout from time to time)

Rugrat:sleep:

That doesn't look like a local, maybe a yard to yard train.

Like it is a car change, from on yard to another close by.
