Canadian Rocky Mountains 2011

Ning is too very pleased with you make for us a special item for the visitors centre.

I understand using placeholders. The object is one the DLS now. So sad I did not have the unique shape of the real building to work with, but it's a close approximation. I did find several pictures of the building with the sign on it, and several without, but for your purposes, I choose to include the sign.:)

Morning,evening Ed

thank you Ed i will go to the DLs and let Ning place the centre at the ED Wells Dam:hehe:
He the shape don't worry atr all it looks great for that purpose absolutely.

Today work and finish the golf course and Revelstoke slowly gets a complete face.

Have a great week.

Ning n Roy:wave:

Thanks Ed and Tume

Today i worked but not finished the Revelstoke Golf course 1924!

Ed after placing your gem of the visitor centre I used Tume's picts and info to reaarange a little bit the dam although the big flow pipes are not on the DLS in any form =that size so have to stick with a technical problem the pipes are in the centre and the turbines are in front of the overflow canals on the left side.
What an engineering marvel i came up with but forgive me for this sin trainz not have all ingredients to do the engineers for the dam smile too. but it looks great not the centre is not to big when fit in the huge size of the dam but does work well.

Thanks Ed. Is it ok i will rename this dam too; Edgar Wells Dam 2011.

Ian, thank you.
Over all the years I use most of your objects and they makes the scenery just look grat.
The mermaid, the boats, jetty, dock, planes you name it many of them I prefer as a number one item to use to make things really work!!
You are one of the preferitti for Trainz.!
thanks for your enormous library you generously share with us over so many years!:)

Great new shots Roy. This is looking so good. You might have answered this already but about how many miles is will your route be upon completion?

nope Ed and @Dricketts +/-240km

what's up here? Is it two buildings superimposed on each other?

Morning Ed,
no this is original and JPK have a few reskins in there to: JPK Irwinelectricalsupply.
But yes I fiddle around a lot with buildngs to match, up and down overlap, on top rotate you name at till it matches something acceptable for fooling the eye (mine at least) once more.

thanks for looking and questioning things
by the way you make to many nice stuff i can't follow that pace to be honest but great to be able to fall back on it at an appropriate time soon.
I almost finished Revelstoke and than the last 10 km till reaching Viktor Lake the portal to connect to the number #3 map (out of 5)
Map #3 goes from Viktor lake,Sicamous to Kamloops.
This map # 4 route Field to Revelstoke, Viktor Lake is about 240km of track and scenery/mountains. This answers @ question

thanks for posting the questions

regards,

Ning n Roy:)

sorry for the bump!Oh,Canada!

Sorry to unexpectedly bump in like that.you are a genius! The route looks so real.and i also noticed some things in your Pics
1:The C-36 is actually a repaint of the Chinese version made by Ocemi
2:No rocky mountaineer?oh well..Still a great route!
3:Canada looks so real in those pics(I am planning a only-one-time-in-a-Lifetime Canada holiday aboard the rocky Mountaineer)
4:Other Chinese trains also appear in the Pics.
5:No flying trees+realistic building+realistic scenery+realistic route=THIS route
6:The Yards,The rail position, the stations,The Pass's are also built by the Hands of a Genius.
7:The Train positions makes the Pics feel even MORE CANADA!
8:All those little country areas give,s the route bit America,Canada Connection feeling
9:The Dam and the Airport is as usual, realistic
10:even the Cars the planes etc. are placed Canada style
All this ads up to=a 5 star,Well enjoyable, realistic route and what does my smilie say?::Y: EPIC

@tikkamasalla

first of all thanks for the detailed underlined exploit of your very good feeling comment.

  1. yes this is Ocemy's loco and a beauty
  2. rocky mountaineer is in the works and you will like it.
  3. we plan this too somewhere in the near future.
  4. yes ocemy stuff is my favorite and also best for testing as it is heavy loaded detail stuff
  5. i also have some hovering treez but that is because of terrain alterations and will be corrected on the go when checking the entire route at the very end
  6. thank you
  7. wow yes
  8. the dam is not prototypical but i wanted to use N3v built in dam which is nice but curved so I just made up something that could go for it.
  9. the seaplanes/choppers/hayes loggers will play an important role in sessions too in my routes
  10. My wife ning is very pleased with your comment and ask to rate this thread as not many people seem to do this.

yeeeeeeh you make our day thanks again and when the rocky mountaineer is ready for show you will see picts in this thread soon

    Roy n Ning;)
