starting with the conifers the results are working well in all seasons and snow level altitude parameters combined.
Personally I love the gentle breeze making them feel real 3D so different from static 2D assets.
A lot of work making all those seasonal but progress is showing good results.

Things slowly fall very nicely in place and in TANE I have never seen so smooth walking and hopping around in CPR Mountain Sub 1.0.9 coming from TS12 .

That looks great! I don't know if that water is the most realistic. It looks a bit unnatural. Then again, I haven't been to the Canadian rocky mountains so I don't know.
 
Roughly 175 miles. You can easily spend 3 or 4 long sessions just running a train from one end to the other, if you obey the speed limits. Be careful if you like to run long trains using full realism; there is at least one place where it is possible to cause a derail by the sheer power of 3 or 4 modern diesels hauling a heavy train around a sharp corner ... ;)
