Canadian Rocky Mountains 2011

Hi Jango,

Thanks so much for the nice compliment really and if the route was not what a regular trainzer would call extremely oversized I would work with many more neat textures I have in my trainz kitchen and fridge but not used yet and the one used seem to do the job which you confirmed here.
How is your work coming along?

best regards over there,

Roy:wave:

Ning's sundaymorning Satelite snippit

just wonna share Ning said how crispy sharp the towering mountain ridges look on this snippit. Sometimes its more fun just to watch in driver the map view from far up and see the awesome Canadian Rocky Mountains in full glory on ......Ts12.

Yes, that looks very much like a topo map! I wonder how many can say that about their routes?

Morning dear Ed,
Ning is to the morning market and her family like every day's job n thing she does and Djoetje the labradeer :hehe: I and the labradors guard the house if that is really needed.
We wish many times we would live closer and hang out have a beer and sip coffee and drool gissip over trainz and sorts of things.:'(
the good thing is we can do this long distance without a problem but still.
Count down has kicked in on Lung Beane/Deane like ning use to call him now, Wednesday we pick him up from Sakhon Nakhon airport and drive over the mountains to our side 60k due south. He will be our honored guest and we keep you posted on his stay. We have the head nurse of Khao Wong and an ambulance standby in case he get a heart attack, faint or any other inconvenience occurring from witnessing as first alien our command center:p/ The police has been requested for Sunday morning to escort him to the airport back home to make sure he not get over excited and wonna stay lol just joking and fooling around.
Gonna be great few days and will miss him already..................

have a nice Sunday all of you and yes isn't it wonderful and true what I said about satelite really just gazing at it the full route is just amazing how crispy and forgetting to run a train.
Think about my dear fellow Trainzer Dermmy which is support where ever I can how he freelance his routes so wonderful and superb in every little corner and have that urge to do the same but cannot because of the size and still manage to give the illusion at key corners to have the surprise detail like he does. He said he never uses photos etc from the real thing to make it close as real just a hint and start from imagination mind and heart. Well to be honest i do the same but still prototypical as far as possible but make my every little corner from the heart and mind and feel very happy about the result. Cannot wait to continue the Laggan sub to finish and spruce up haha but first finish the website make that work and than dive in the Laggan sub with full force and joy!

warmest regards dear Ed,

your friend

Roy n Djoetje(he knicks yes its ok)

I think Roy reaches lonely heights :hehe: with his projects. I am so proud of him:D

Ning:wave:

You should be, he's done amazing work on this project. The sense of scale and realism is awe inspiring.

What numeral are you using in your trainzoptions file for FOV's ?

Being that Trainz is tunnel visioned (narrow field of view) this route really needs a wide angle view ... like a person see's @ 180 degrees.

How long does it take to drive your route ? It looks immence !

Andy and others one said Roy's vioews are distort but Roy said it is close to fisheye and push for panoramic view feeling like... not easy depending on what angle you look it looks very well certain angles little bit funny..

Roy tell me driverfov=86 than fisheye start kick in now at 80 and more straight in corner the trees right?
most he use surveyorfov80 etc

what mean rive your route??:o immense you mean (:hehe::p I use translate check...)

Ning:wave:

Sorry ouch, not see spell Roy happen many time special on Ipad he furious Ipad has delay in keyboard chinese and also screen not really sync horrible Apple sh...t he curses many times:eek: but i agree him so much money for and no windows functions nothing all canned he said like us and sardines lol. wait for windows tablet never any Apple thing ever he says.

Well He last time did it over 8 hours none stop no hot box drop off no other yard drop off anywhere no upcoming traffic priority so the entire Mountain sub probably well over 10 at least 9-10 i guess when manual driving and respecting signals and speed and grade etc etc .

Wow, that's a stunning lumbermill! Great work Joosten and Ning and I hope you had a nice visit at least?

@bryinmich thanks for the compliment but most goes to the content creators who makes this possible but yes still you have to make the scenery and get the most out of it!
Deane the crap and scum king :hehe: is back home since yesterday and he survived and we hope he had a good time with us too. Here in Thailand there is a lot of derelict stuff but hard to impossible to make a pict as weed and trees always obstruct the clean view.

have a great day

Hi Ning, hi Roy. Yes, I'm back home and sadly back at work too. Just a quick 'thank you' for all your hospitality (and great cooking and singing Ning!). I hope we didn't upset your routine too much. The downside is that I cannot get that Thai pop song 'seven seven' (about the "girl" in the 7-11 store) out of my head...:hehe: Since returning, I have been trying to make more pond scums from the photos I took in Thailand.

Loong Deane
