Bulk loading 'on the fly.'

Hi all,

Was wondering if anybody knew of an industry that is configured, or could be configured, to load/unload bulk products (coal, wheat, etc) on the fly.

At the moment I am using a Multi Industry New track, which does not allow such actions, and having to stop and start, and stop and start, to load a 40-car wheat train gets a little irritating.
Sure, it increases the time it takes to load, but that's not the point.

The built-in coal mine allows you to load coal if you are going under about 10 kph/8 mph, the Coal Loader Basic also allows you to drive over while the train unloads.

Thanks for that. At the moment, I'm after something for loading wheat. I'll have a look at the Coal Loader, see how difficult it might be to edit the config to add wheat as a product.

I'd prefer not to though, so if anyone knows of a suitable industry, specifically for wheat, although a range of bulk products would be nice, let me know.

using the keyword search-bulk,generic bulk loader, overhead bulk loader, 1-9, bulk overhead loader/unloader, bulk loads elevator min load/unload.
No idea if any would suit your idea.

That idea came to mind, throw a load of silos about and a few buildings, then drive to t/mark, instant load, wait for 3 minutes for effect then drive off.

3 minutes to load a 40 car train? Now that I'd like to see!

I could use instant load/unload, however I much prefer to use Industry active tracks where possible.

I did find one Bulk Loader by Zatovisualworks that is configured for about a dozen commodities, mainly mineral; I'll look into adding wheat to the queues.

2 things, make sure that the cars only carry wheat or configure the loader to only produce wheat otherwise your hoppers will go out with a right mixed load.
