All of a sudden I find a lot of auran builtins are checked with a little red square in content manager. All of blue_star_ind are marked, and a few others, some of which was on my layout and working fine. Now missing intersections, drivers and various other things...strange thing is i installed trainz 2010 twice on this machine in different partitions and just checked the one i was using for a backup, from a month ago, the content manager shows them checked and a bunch open for edit...any ideas?:'(

Highlight the marked-bad content and right click on the list. Open them for edit, and choose revert to original from the edit section of the menu. This will close the content back up and make it work. You may have to recommit them to get them to work.

Some of the older content has errors in the config files. These errors are ignored by the program when it loads the content from the compressed files. Auran had done this in the past, which was a bad thing to do. There is no harm in running the program with this bad content.

However recently updates have been released on the DLS that will override these older built-in items and has replaced them with repaired ones. Check the DLS, through Content Manager for out-of-date items on your system, and download the latest versions of these items. This will ensure you get the newer fixed ones.

Hope this helps.

Well thank you....the one i really needed did revert, but so far none of the other builtins won't revert cause they won't highlight, and no they are not on the download station, so guess i'll just live with the rest...hehe

You're welcome!

Since the others won't revert, you might want to run a quick database repair.

In Content Manager (CM), click on the file menu, and choose Quick Database Repair.

This might take awhile to run, so plan on doing this before you go to bed, and let the program run overnight. Check the status tomorrow morning, and if it's okay shutdown CM and wait a good 10 minutes before rebooting the computer.

Nope that didn't work, everything is still the same....only thing left is a reinstall I would guess, but as for now I'll live with it
Thanks again for the help.
