Build Version Question / DLS train vehicle compatibility

I can't find this information while searching, though I suspect it's been answered a zillion times, so forgive me.

When searching for new assets to use in TS2010 via content manager 3.3, I would like to know what assets I can use in TS2010 native mode so I can try to get optimum performance from the machine in my sig.

If I download a new locomotive from the DLS using CM3.3, how can I tell if it works in TS2010 native mode if such is not specifically stated in the item description?

Does TS2010 native mode compatibility correlate in any way with any particular "minimum build version" ? Or does this only apply to certain assets?

Thanks for any light you can shed on this topic.

Anything for TS2009 and up should be fine, and anything uploaded since sometime in 2009 (whenever the checking routines were improved) should be fine. Lots of earlier stuff will work, but some may need fixing. There is a process underway to fix all of the faulty items on the DLS, so once this is complete, there should be a working native mode compliant version of everything on the DLS.

Basically, anything that is not reported as faulty in Content Manager (which is usually build 2.9 (TS2009) and above, should work in Native mode.

Items that are reported as faulty need to be fixed in order to use them in Native mode.

EDIT: In case you are not sure, faulty items are indicated with a red ! in Content Manager next to it's name (or a red ? if it has faulty dependencies)

The "minimum build version" works on all content and build 2.7 and up should work OK but look out for dependent assets that can be bad.
