Broken Pin-Connected bridge spline. Bridge disappears when zooming in close.

Trainzing since 12-2003
The bridge disappears when zooming in close. The frame disappears and only the finer mesh details appear.

This occurs with both versions of the bridge.

<kuid2:124060:32001:5> Pin-connected truss bridge spline
<kuid:124060:32132> Pin-connected truss bridge spline, rusty

I downloaded this version and it comes up with a faulty flag in TRS2019 Build 114800 : - <kuid2:124060:32001:5> : Unable to read config file for asset at 'arc:fld:$(original)/hash-05||kuid2 124060 32001 5.tzarc|'

I deleted it and went back to using version 4.

I tried downloading both into TRS SP4, both have errors and won't commit, both have same errors;

; <NULL> : bridge_spline_0.fbx
! <kuid:124060:32132> : Warn, T11844: FBX-DOM (TOK_KEY, offset 0x31937b) shading mode not recognized: Phong
- <kuid:124060:32132> : Mesh attached to scene twice; not currently supported.
- <kuid:124060:32132> : Mesh attached to scene twice; not currently supported.
; <kuid:124060:32132> : Commit failed for <kuid:124060:32132>

Thanks for the update - some better error-checking in SP4, I suspect. I'll take a look at it this evening.

That's because there's .fbx files included in the download. Delete the .fbx files and submit it and you should be fine.

That's just come up as faulty here as well in SP4. has a weird message about mesh attached to scene twice, deleted the FBX files so no longer faulty but as John says not visible close up, the rivets are though, very odd! The phong warning seems to appear on most fbx assets on initial install, then goes away on checking errors and warnings again and doesn't seem to affect anything.

I changed the Mesh lod0 to lod1

bridge-lod0
{
mesh "bridge_spline_1.trainzmesh"
}

and the
high-detail
{
mesh "bridge-lod1"
}

Patches the close up issues. A temp fix without errors.

Something to do with mesh 0 at close up view.
I am sure that Pencil42 will fix them, he does great looking assets.

Fixed this morning and sent to the DLS. Not sure if I made the cutoff for today or if it will post tomorrow. I'm sorry for the inconvenience!!
