Will this ever get Patched Correctly?

Thank You John for your reply, I enjoyed reading it. I only do edits on one Content at a time, and only usually have only one open for edit, and it still will hang with the message access error.
I have tried every thing that I could think of to see if the PC was Blocking it, I even turned off the Windows account control to the lowest level temporarily to see if it was my PC, but that was not it.

Yea I have complained a lot about this Game, but I enjoy it so very much that it gets annoying when things do not work like I want it to. Lol.
My biggest, and most annoying issues with this 2019 is the Mountain Textures draw Distance issues.

I did manage to fix some of the Vanishing Objects by converting the .texture files to .tga and trying different settings for the Textures such as alpha=semi Transparent and other settings to fix the objects from disheartening when Zooming back from them.

I now have 83 Gigs in my Local Folder, and I have Repaired most of the Content that I use in my Map.
I keep it backed up on 2 Internal WD Blue 1 terabyte Drives for safe keeping in case of a PC Crash.
I just ordered a WD Blue SSD 1 terabyte drive as I was tired of waiting 20 mins to save the local folder.
The new SSD will be here today and I am anxious to see if it cuts the saving file time in half or more.
I think that it should be faster than the WD Blue Mechanical Drive.

My Main Drive C: consists of 4x WD Blue SSDs 500 Gigs each in Raid-0, data speeds are at 2 Gigs per second according to the SSD Benchmark tools.
But that is very Risky as if one of the SSDs fail then I lose all windows stuff, that is why I keep major backups for all of my Content and other stuff.

Out of order however.

3. Draw distance and texture rendering, not seeing a problem however I use my own Ground textures which are mostly pretty much seamless on anything that's distant. Reason being that older textures even if swirled to reduce the repeating pattern seem to change to tiled checkerboard at a distance, setting post processing to its lowest setting improves rendering of most things.

10. Lamp texture bleeding can be fixed, if you have access to the coronas used and they are not locked! by editing the TGA used to make the image a lot smaller, at least half the size, that's the image not the tga size. Lighting is on the list of things to bring up to date in the future, fingers crossed it actually happens.

9. PBR Textures, I avoid using anywhere that is not flat! IMO non PBR Normal mapped ground textures look as good if not better. If using again my opinion, TurfFx the ground texture is pretty much irrelevant and doesn't need to be PBR
As for burying track, the PBR texture needs to cover a 10m square or maybe two either side of the track to avoid the burying, fiddly can be done, I'm not bothering at the moment, maybe later.

7. PhysX hasn't worked properly since we first got it, and bounces off collision / bounding boxes for anything in close proximity such as overhanging objects, trees, telegraph wires. I don't use it. Could be fixed for each item causing the bounce by a simple config entry as below however you could be talking of hundreds or more items so not practical. Some items have much larger bounding boxes than would appear from looking at the asset.
Code:
enable-pfx-collisions 0

I've used this on my own stuff and it works however as no one else does I just disable PhysX, improve frame rates slightly by disabling as well.

5. Floating roads, many have always floated but were only really obvious when they started casting shadows, answer is to adopt one of the following:

a. Lower the spline points.
b. Use roads with a deeper edge so there is no gap, same applies to track.
c. Add does-cast-shadows 0 to any roads above version 4.4

Note there are roads that don't float however unless the road surface is at the correct height the vehicles float above it......

Performance.

Here I disable:
Exclude all Trainz related folders from any on access anti whatever scanning, in my case that's just defender, anything else I run manually if required.
Exclude Trainz folders or in my case drives from Windows Indexing, not really needed with SSDs anyway.
Vertical Sync set to None improves Frame rates, assuming one has a decent GPU
Trainz installs I have on 3 individual 500GB SSDs, OS on another and everything else on a 2TB spinner.

Backups, I keep the userdata in a userdata folder in the Trainz install so it's all in one place, I use two 4 TB external USB3 Drives, ones a backup of the backup and just sync my various Trainz installs to the backup, after the initial backup, it only takes a few minutes to synchronise any changes.
Advantage is that in the event of loosing an install I can just copy the whole lot back off the backup with no need to mess with installing etc. Incidentally I can actually run Trainz from the backup drives which also contain OS Macrium reflect images for my 3 PCs and backups of all my content creation stuff going back 9 years!

I'm currently adopting the I'll use what works OK approach and ignoring stuff that doesn't or doesn't yet.

for you reply another good read.
Yes everything thing that you stated is right on. I found that with V-Sync turned off I get a bit of Video Tearing when panning around and, and some lines in the Sky. I always keep my V-Sync turned on for smoother Panning Visuals. I will never see more than 60fps anyway, 60 is Butter Smooth.

Thank You for that Tip about reducing the Texture Size for the Coronas, I will give that a try.

Waiting for my New WD SSD 1T to arrive today so I can move all of My Trainz saved stuff imaged over to it, and then permanently attach it to my PC Internals.
I do also have a few WD 2T Passports on hand to save my Trainz Data to them, Thanks for reminding me.

To the OP. Are any of the fleet of PCs you tested with Intel based or are they all recent AMD cpu systems?
As an newish AMD cpu user I'm wondering if there are AMD-centric issues?

FWIW

My Thoughts exactly, and no I do not have any Intel based systems handy to Test on.
I think that may be the issues, as the 2019 is not Compatible with the New Ryzen Series of CPUs,These New CPUs do have a Built in code execution Core to prevent that past Melt Down issue and Viruses.
