bringing all sessions forward to an updated route

As I build my new map, the route gets regularly saved as a new instance. When there are new specific sessions, except for the default, there is now issue.
I sometimes create special testing sessions that contains test consists with a specific sequence to see if the layout works as designed so far.
If I now save as the route to preserve any new changes, how do I also bring all of the test sessions along? One is easy, open that one for editing and save it along with the new route. What about other special sessions? They will stay behind with the old route.

It's easier to open your specific session and then do a save-as if you are only concerned about saving a single session. The save-as will bring up the option to save the route and session. This will preserve everything and save you the time for editing your config.txt file in the session to reflect the new route-kuid.

Now, if you have multiple sessions, it's a different story. Here you'll need to point the individual sessions to the new route by updating the map-kuid and the same kuid-in the kuid-table to reflect the new route.

Using Notepad++ you can search and replace multiple config.txt files which will save you a lot of time.

That's what I do. It keeps me sane, well sort of. ;-)
