Blue Comet whistle sound?

Hi;
I purchased and installed the Blue Comet set yesterday for TS12+SP1.
There are a few bugs I cannot definitely attribute to the Comet - probably more to TS12 and my system. But the whistle on the Comet is terrible! It sounds more like a groan than any whistle I have ever heard.
Is this a peculiarity of the locomotive, of the sound file, of TS12, or of my system?

I have to agree. The whistle sounds terrible and I hope it will be updated one day soon!
