-Thanks guys! The 7th from the top is really cool when its in motion, just watching the train go though the curves like a snake. Its really a neat site!

hello this route is cool cant wait i have tons of bnsf and up stuff to run on it.when is trainz 2011 coming out just wanted to know thanks.

The screenshots look great, but can I make a suggestion? Don't create curvy fences. You very seldom see a fence with a curve - they should be in straight sections.

From the image you see here, some fences in certain sections are really curvy. Looks like a few drinks may have been involved during construction... :hehe:

Sorry for doing this but are those houses on the top of the hill in the 7th shot of the post before last available anywhere? They look great. Really excellent route btw:D

I think you'll find much of that curvature is more the fence following the topography (and as such appears like it's curved). The shortest distance between two points is a straight line, and a straight line is cheaper ;). By all means the fence will follow the track, but instead of following a curve with a curve, the fence curve should be broken down into 'short' straight sections.

not really, a fence is to denote a property line or keep livestock from wandering. if your property curves you want to use as much space as possible, especially along a right of way of some kind. you dont make a fence in a straight line because its cheaper. the only straight parts would be between the posts. you risk losing your property if you dont use it for so long, and that counts bits of it that fall outside of a recognizable boundary like a fence.

and since you got me...

why does this even matter? its not a fence simulator. you seriously think the fences ought to be in short straight sections? REALLY? cmon man

Do you mind me asking if and where the telecommunication poles in your screenshots are available please? They look like reskinned versions of Eurostar's US telegraph poles. :)
Thankyou,

Chris
