Bakersfield To San Bernardino

What makes you think we get smog from the LA area up here?

Linda

There is smog in the Inland Empire as well as the Central Valley. As far as out in the parts in between, it usually ends at the mountains. If only there was a way to adjust it though so the fog would change on different parts of the map.

That smog was a whole lot worse 50 years ago. If you are doing a circa '60 route/layout, as I am, it would be good to have more smog in your sky.

maybe we are all talking about something different, on the other hand,

its still not a fence simulator
i dont see where the curved fences that started this silly discussion are joe did pretty well i thought placing the end braces on the fences.
splines work that way in trainz anyhow - regardless of real life.

sorry to be up in arms about this, but to me its like saying the models shouldn't be made of polygons because polygons are flat, where round objects are obviously not flat. it comes down to utter nitpicking from where i stand. i mean youd have to have 2 spline points at every tangent, thats just ridiculous, thats why im saying cmon really???

I tried a few times to get a rastermap of Bakersfield and at 1:24000 the maps right around the center of town seemed mismatched...

Curious...

So does this mean that instead of going over to JointedRail.com right now and buying say 8 locos for $80 we all just wait for the next release of Trainz and get many more locos (not to mention an excellent route and a new edition of trainz) for probably less of the price of the $80.:o
because if so i think i might just end up doing that:)

Edit:
I hope that made sense to someone, was up all night in Perth for the Aussie day fireworks so my brain is a bit fried

there wont be 8, and they are not available on the site. so i guess it would depend on what you want. either choice is definitely worth it.

-Yea i was told that the raster maps didn't match up in the area, so when i saw, i was like, yep he was right! so raster maps weren't used at all so i didn't make any mistakes on track alignment accuracy etc.

Socalwb909, could I please see a 2 or 3 train meet at the loop?
Possibly an intermodel meeting a grain or a oil can train.
