Bakersfield To San Bernardino

Joe, it's fantastic! How much left till release?
-Its mostly just beta testing now!
Where did you get the bushes and stuff? on the DLS? if so mine isnt working right at the moment.:'(
-some is dls and some is built in...
Hello Joe

You're using the wrong crossing there at Bealville. You have left crossings set on the right side of the road. That's why the crossbucks are facing the track. Those are to be used on the left side of the road for a quad set up. Just swap them out for a "Grade xing nrc led" 39134:102036.
The routes looking good.
-Thanks for the heads up, i will get it fixed!
-everyone else thanks for all the great comments!

-Ever wonder what modern power at the Tehachapi Loop would look like if things were opposite and CSX ruled the west coast? I did:

-What do you think, do they fit in?

-Joe

lol, just doesnt look right CSX on the Westcoas. hmmm.... :hehe:

man, this route has come from a long way! looks amazing

Nice stuff ;)

Is this route gone be part of TRS11 only,or can it be purchased direct from

Jointed Rail as well when it is done?

I'd like to add it to my collection as soon as possible ;)

Keep up the good work!

Cheers
Walt

Hmmm. Looks like that train got a bit lost. Penn Central I would believe...
but CSX?

That's a shame.
:hehe:

@norfolksouthern37 great shots you linked us to,with railroading, anything can pop up anywhere. All UP or all BNSF power frequented the Pan Am line up here in Massachusetts for a whole week and at least once a month a whole lash up of all BNSF or all UP comes up on that line aswell. Lets not forget about Ferromex too lol.

Anyways to stay on topic, great route guys, cant wait to buy it :)

Hi Joe, first of all great route and cant wait for release.

I do have a few questions like, where did you get the dem for mojave to bakersfield.
-How do you merge them because when I try fishlips dems have a different north and what not than do the checkrail dems.
- What textures do you use.
-Why can I not see your pictures before page like 28 or something like that, all that I see is the photobucket symbol.

-The dems i made my self so if i want to extend the route i know they will merge flawlessly. mojave was on a different dem than the bakersfield dem at the beginning but i guarantee no one will find where the 2 dems were merged and i didn't even edit the ground or nothing.
-A lot of the textures i made myself.
-thats because i had a problem with photobucket and and i stopped using it. sorry!

Hi Joe.

Firstly, I'd like to wish everyone in the United States a very Happy New Year, as yours hasn't come yet.

Now, back to business.

Socal, in your last two screenshots on the previous page, I thought I could see vapour trails from jet exhaust streaming across the sky. Is that a JointedRail sky I wonder?:o

Anyway, fantastic screens, and keep up the good work into the new decade!

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

Some things that don't belong in west coast are:
NS
Conrail
CSX
K5la on freight trains
SD80mac's

Lots of foreign power on the Mojave Sub, seen lots of pics and vids of NS,CSX,KCS,Ferromex,Canadian Pacific,CN there. Power gets mixed up all over the place in the US. Quite common for Railroads to borrow and repay hoserpower hours.

Cheers

Lots
