Bakersfield To San Bernardino

The realisim & textures are slowly swaying me to switch to 10 version. No "Speed Trees" I see:hehe: Are here "Speed Tumbleweeds" ?

Ditto.

I have TRS2010, but my laptop isn't powerul enough to run it. Anway, I have over 20.4 GB (247,503 files) of stuff I downloaded in TRS2006. :o

You won't be camping there anymore. Can't even get in there any more because of the no trespassing signs plastered on everything they could stick them on.

Iv never camped but I remember all those signs back when I still lived there in 2007. My dad and I never cared. I know its bad. We were chased out of Cajon Pass once by a UP rent a cop with so many percings he could drink water and it come out diferent places.

Trust me it will be there. I've camped at the loop and know personally what you are talking about. The loop is the heart of the Mojave Sub imo and i plan to make it as best as i can. I wont say perfect because i dont believe in perfect, but i have years and gobs of info needed to get this especially right!

Thanks. Im glad someone is actualy taking notice of the mound for once.

Alright! Caliente! Now your startin to hit area I remember! So far it looks good acording to my memory (Im only just now 16 as of today). You better get the bridge there right. I will never forget that. My dad and I were waitin for a train, and we went walkin around the bridge there. Inside the bottom parts of the bridge (If I remember right it was a girder) there was a baby owl. No bigger than a foot tall. It stayed there looking at us until a frieght came down from the loop. I watched him fly away when the first unit hit the bridge.

I will never forget that town, or that day for that matter.

Don't Worry

Joe, don't sweat the small stuff for now...Your WIP is awsome but very large. Come back later and tweek the fine details. Perhaps someone will produce the item you mentioned. In the meantime, keep up the great work. You have put many of us on hold when it comes to the Loop. :D

Thanks everyone!

-here is your hill, sorta. still think it would be better as an asset but i cant find a good pic of the hill!

Right now, to me, its better than nothing. Thank you:Y:

I have some old pictures from the loop, back when I lived there. I thought I may have a picture of it, but not one on my computer. If I can locate one, you will be the first to know.

But I would glady look at something a little to far away then nothing at all.

-Here's a slight update! Sorry that i can't give you the full experience of the tehachapi loop thanks to the wonderful 5000m draw distance... more like 5000mm draw distance :hehe:
