-I have not seen the trains magazine you talk of but I just thought it was that time to come back, let that be my excuse lol :p

-Based on a 1996 timetable I have, I did an Amtrak run from Barstow to San Bernardino, obeying all speed limits, +/- 5mph. Coming into Victorville for a stop, I was only about four minutes late. When I got to San Bernardino, I was only one minute late. Whole run was within 1h 45m, with 81.4 (iirc) miles traveled using the 3% grade on the west side of the pass. This just lets me know that my track work and gradients, speed limit sign placements, signals, etc. are in the most accurate places Trainz will let me put them. But all these little details couldn't have been done without Transdem for terraforming the land and the San Bernardino Museum for providing me with info on gradients, signals etc. Now I just need to fill in the whole route with scenery someday, instead of pretending when I drive a train lol.

-This is an example of what I looked at for creating the route, laying track etc.

Wow! That run looks so fun. I think those last shots are some of your best Joe. Glad to see this route is still moving forward.

I think he does know what he is talking about ... And I know ... that I know, what I am talking about, when it comes to all splines, adversely effecting framerates.
