Author "gramma"'s MVR reskins

Hey Gramma, I hope this message finds you.
I originally tried to send it as a PM, but you've disabled those.

Regarding your MVR reskins on the DLS: if no author is cited in the description, am I correct in the assumption that the asset is your own? And in this case, may I please have permission to reskin it in my own MVR livery and uplaod it to the DLS (such as your "MVR (Milton Valley Railroad) Budd" coach set)?

Also, just to verify, I'm assuming assets that are cited to be by another author originally were reskinned and uploaded with their permission, and are thus safe to be used without fear of them being taken down (e.g. "MVR (Milton Valley Railroad) Baldwin 4-4-0 #72")?

Hello Sharadise, Thanks for the Heads-up.

I created bunch of Milton Valley Railroad Assets To DLS, I gave credit for original meshes and uploaded to DLS

Thanks but those are 2009 and 2010 assets. I was looking for something of TS12 with a minimum Trainz-build of 3.5.

Some of Gramma's content was removed from the DLS because he uploaded some content without the author's permission. I assume Gramma is a he because railroading is a very male hobby. How do you see what Trainz versions people have with this new forum format?

Can I get your permission to update your Superliner assets for Trainz 2019,2022 to the DLS
I updated the top cooling Fans and Textures to look good in the later Trainz versions.

You will be listed as the original Creator for all of your assets.

You won't be able to contact him. He's been banned because he uploaded old JR payware assets to the DLS without permission.
 
That's too bad, I enjoyed seeing his route project screenshots that he shared, he was really involved for awhile there. I suppose I ought to have taken the time to tell him as much.

Then I will not touch those Amtrak Passenger Cars as they may belong to Jointed Rail.
I have updated some of his stuff to the DLS, but they where originally created by DES David Snow.
I made sure that I had permissions from DES to do so.
We always need to read the License in the Config files to make sure that they can be reskinned with permission.
If not, most of the times the author will give permission thru emails.

He managed to read the licenses and chose to ignore them anyway.

One of the reasons that gramma was banned is because he made illegal copies of JointedRail payware and reuploaded some old TrainzForge Assets along with Old USLW content. He also made copies of JosefPav's assests as well.
