Australian screenshots

AS you can see from the images I have merged the Northcoast NSW route into my NSW2ACR route.. providing the Author of the route does not mind when I release My NSW@ACR route I'll release a Merged VErsion as well.
I am planning on merging the Brisbane south Route...

The Casino Grafton section has been announced by pgibbons as an extension of his other Casino routes so we eventually will merge that with your line.

Hello Everyone

@Chris, that looks awesome, if you had the time, could you work wounders of QGR Ipswich. With the Texturing.

Dear Peter,

I have visited Smith Street wheret the old allignment used to run down the street all is left is a alot of wooden sleepers still in the ground with every 5 having been removed, some tarmac and some bridge piers that used to cross the creek. I have read the page on WOS, and will be heading down there tommorrow to Portsmith on my bikecycle and will be making a return trip via the original alignment into cairns railway station. I am there to inspect the KCSR carriages for QHR for our records.

The pictures shall feature of my railway heritage group; Queensland Heritage Railways aka QHR on Facebook. If your a member of fb, please do join and have a look at the photo's of mine and the various qld railway items from our members.

While you are on holidays in Cairns, look for the old Cairns station and route south before the rebuild including the shopping center station and Portsmith marshalling yards. See if any rails left in roads or beside roads as there was a bit of running beside roads out of town southbound. A thread on "Wheels on Steel" or Railpage had the old track route and station details as probably would a thread here on the Cairns Trainz layout.

Load test on Fingal Line; 1x45, 3x48 class & 24 NGKF's for 1800t.

Now I just have to work out how to rework Fingal and Avoca Yards to include silos. Fun!

Matt.

Jared,

I am currently making a NSWGR Steam version of the layout, so all the best. Some screenshots will feature your C38's too. It will be based on the North Coast around Maitland and Werris Creek. So expect to see a small colliery branch with RODS and SMR 10 class engines hauling coal hoppers. Maybe a NSW Vintage train

Michael Gitsham

How about some C38's too!:D

... I'm back folks!!

...got hit with the PBR bug at the volunteer day so it narrow gauge for me! :D

...this begins with the creation of the early town of 'Katniss', starting with a reskin of a building by my good friend simulatortrain...

:D :D That sort of on the spot research activity is what I was trying to suggest to both you and Cricketstar the other week. You will recall one of the things I suggested you and your mate do the other week was to use your "recordings" on trainz and post results here.

Hello all,

Awesome work as always all - Keep'em coming :)

@ Deadly, mate that one great route coming along. Your attention to detail etc is second to none. Always great to see progress shots mate.

Anyways, a simple shot from me today. Still having some issues I am not happy with on my route. So I spending a little more time in Surveyor til I am happy.

Joel, my 5yr old, sneaked a go in surveyor whilst I was afk, and I thought it looked like a good screen shot.

Cheers all,

@rbar_164 Bah! TS2010 is better because you can use the Puffing Billy locos unlike TS12:p

Then explain how they're working for him...

I might also point out that the beta release of the 1940's versions of the locomotives and rollingstock on Victrainz will work in TS2009+ because they were created (or at least updated) to work in such versions.

Great shots all 'round, but I must agree with Stephen that this place has been lacking in Victorian based shots (with the expection of Matt running VR on a Tasmainian line) I would post some, but I haven't been in Trainz for awhile.

Cheers
Tim

I like the way people adapt other people's layouts from different states to suit their own version of a bit of fun and all done in a friendly manner :D

Finally! Someone whos going for the latest and not 2010 like everyone else! :hehe:

Look forward to seeing what you do with it :D

Cheers

Thanks Stevo.

Just purchased it and waiting for the 6gb download to finish :)
As soon as that finishes, i'm going to re-do my Stock2Temora route (on the DLS).

Baaaaad move, buddy :p

...That there is VR (PBR if you please) NA locomotive 7a, reskinned from origanal green 7a for TRS2004 (I should have used 14a :p) in TS2012.
I resent that they don't work in 2012 as that is it RIGHT THERE. Not only does it work, I am currently updating it to the 09-12 standard of steam locomotives, and I am proud to say that it is nearly completed with only smoke effects to go. So far engine sound is co-operating perfectly with e-spec and driving bogie, so all thats left is smoke effects. Though these modifications don't include mesh and texture upgrades, this will do just fine until a new NA is built (hopefully in the near future)

So, I hope you don't speak your mind to greatly:hehe: All you need to do is fix errors and that can easily be learnt... I would google it but thats not how I learnt...

...oh, and another thing, the reason your PBR rolllingstock does not work in 2012 is the reason you cannot run great routes like Dermmy's EK3 without CATASTROPHIC lagg...

Cheers
Stevo
