Happy now Steve?

Imagine if VR had F7s for real:o:eek::eek::hehe: They would not stand a chance against a S class Steamer

No, offence but by the sound of it, you don't know much about VR history :hehe: The S class steamers were pulled out early by the B class desiel... or was it S... anyway, the F7 would dominate the VR fleet but we don't need it as VR is gone :(

@Trent: I think I will go download it :) wait... the DLS is a bit messed up...

Gday Steve,

Yeah I had to goto the DLS via website not CM to get the downloads currently. Though they very small files other than the route which is about 45 meg. But it is worth the short time to download and enjoy this route. Peter has put a lot of effort into this.

The pop up alerts of the points of interest are fantastic, I actually paused the session to read each and everyone of them (History Tour Session).

Cheers

Do you think the track is too close to the runway?

I would definitely think so hehe. Imagine what would happen if a plane crashed when a passenger or worse a freighter was passing by at the same time. Though would make for some great action scene's / Sessions :)

Cheers

Not really :hehe:

I think the airport is called St. Martins and the planes come into land just over the HEADS of people on the beach. Many people hold on for dear life to the fence as Jumbos take off.

Those that can not hang on are blown over the beach, along with many other "beach" items :hehe:

As long as the train controllers and aircraft controllers know what they are talking about it is fine :hehe:

Probably shouldn't admit to this, but I was about to ask what Tasmania had to do with Australia.:o:o

Whoops!

Nice screenshot, Trent, and great looking route Pware.

Currently downloading for a more detailed examination.

Matt.

Postcards from Cairns

I will be making some Tasmanian steam locomotives, just require the assistance for the drivers. Since I am inexperienced making complex steam drivers, and their is no tutorial avaliable online or to my knowladge to assist me making them. But if someone can show me, I am willing to learn.

@Rastis, I am planning to begin building a SAR Y Class 1067mm locomotive which a few examples got sold onto the Silverton Tramway aswell as examples going onto Tasmania. I am getting help from a kinda source to teach me with the drivers, since I am inexperienced at the moment to make them myself.

Was there not a line in Tassie where the line crossed the runway ????

In Alaska planes have right of way over cars on the roads.

I know of at least 2 runways in Australia which have gun clubs on the approach path and the depature path at Canberra has a live round tank trainning area under it and two gun ranges.

At Griffith in NSW quite often Ambo crews waiting for Air Amdo or RFDS flights have to crusie the runway to clear off all the Roos who see it as a great place to hang out.
