Heh, haven't done any Trainz for a while. Wasn't much chop at making locos really, had a go but didn't excel. Preferred reskinning 2100s to be honest but now that Paintshed is no longer supported I can't do those anymore.

Cricketstar, if Trainz89 wishes to make a defence, he is more than capable of doing so himself, otherwise, please leave the matter to lie and show a bit more respect when someone has mentioned they are suffering depression. Pressing a matter such as this which has affected someones depression does not help them in their fight, and 9 times out of 10 only makes it worse. I know people who have contemplated or even attempted to take their own lives from depression. So please let it lie, stop pressuring Ghosty about this or it will go to the mods under the harrasment banner.

soits fair everyone gets to have a swing at a person for a private matter? cause i dont think thats right cause sure one person has depression doesnt mean that the person that is in remorse is not gong to get it either and if it really wanted to stay private it never would have been mentioned, it should have stayed in private so report me for harassment and ill gladly withdraw Brisbane city train from ever being released and from my personal experience, depressed people dont exactly like getting social ,from personal experience and others that i have been friends with

That may be the clue to the solution; you both are sitting at home in front of a computer during school holidays. The solution is to get real world knowledge so.....

[a] As I understand you two are school kids, therefore tell the responsible adult you are going out for the day train spotting and ask the responsible adult for some $$$ for the fares and food.

Organise a camera, notebook and pencil and maybe a mobile phone.

[c] ride the trains and record your observations

[d] later go home and recreate that modern day situation in trainz. No need for documents or anything apart from things like Google Earth.

[e] share the results here

I cannot believe two former colleagues that have bruised and battered my self-esteem are now taking shots at poor Ghosty. I'm severely infuriated by the attacks of Michael Gitsham, and the insolence of cricketstar in bringing on a bout of depression. Gitsham knows he's in trouble and will try to fight his way out. Ghosty, if you read this know that those two are a troublemaking pair. Cricketstar not so much, but Gitsham is. I have had depression and have won the battle. Don't let a 16 and 17 y.o. pair of kids bring you down. They wouldn't face you offline.

When you read this Ghosty, I'll support you any day. Please note that.

If users are bitching about trainz game in general on what content they make than obviously some take this game too seriously.

Also Ghosty mentions he suffers from depression so guys just lay off him and leave him alone....Hopefully we don't need to wait till school holidays to end!

Pacific National freight train unloads after arriving in ACR.


Quad NR's have re-fuelled and head to couple up to some wagons.


81 Class shunts some steel wagons as another NR arrives to pick some wagons up aswell in preparation for the evening steelie to Port Kembla.

Correction Enki,

The concrete photo-textured track in question you were referring to is a side project still under development for Ghosty. (Again, I thank Scott for putting his life at risk for obtaining the many various images to be used in the mesh). I had not given any thought of releasing it the way it is or in other diameters at this time.

Ah, that's right. I remember now I asked you once before about it which you informed me of it also at that time. I'm really sorry if I sounded like a slavering gimmepig mentioning it again. I just thought it was exactly what Tarangon was looking for in his question, hence I mentioned it and inquired as to it's availability.

No problems about the track not being released anyway - I can still drool over them regardless (and this will be last time I mention them. ). Thanks for the clarification Chuff.

Also, I don't think I need to add anything more in regards to the problems Ghosty is facing that hasn't already been mentioned, other than to say Ghosty you have my support and sympathy - depression is a terrible illness and it would be a tragedy to lose a great Trainzer to 'the black dog' as Winston Churchill called it.

I really hope you can get better soon mate.

Its Brisbane Southlines route that has Acacia Ridge Yard included it in,I pretty much rebuilt the yard and added it to another Route called North coast NSW-Casino-Border route.

Pretty enjoyable route for running plenty of freight trains.

5 pofig kuids trees and 2010EE lags in surveyor

hi all

i placed the 5 tree kuids from pofig into my 2010EE.
its updated to the last before multiplayer

after placing them i noticed that the trees were moving
when i tried to use the arrow keys in surveyor to turn to the other side i had lag and stuttering

any idea what is causing this?
everybody else seems to have no problem running pofigs excellent stuff

gggaaahhh No Idea with only that many tree's even Profig High REs tree's there should not have been that much of a change...

I was looking at his tree's but could not find a good link so am sticking with the Auran Gum tree line.. they are nice enough.

Here are some pic's I took while setting up a Session, I sent this to Patchy for testing and his stamp if approved..I think I only need to finish cleaning up and its good to go.. I've got to stop adding to it, I added about 5 K's mor eroad track last night and a Road frieght yard plus a refinery got a industry to supply the diesel for the Provisioning Shed...

Just finishing up emptying the coal, only to get held up by 3 lite Loco's and a pair of on coming coal.. (note the lack of shadows on the 2 71 class even the boxy shadow on the DEL helps to set the scene, I'm one for shadows they give it realism).

I remember seeing a video somewhere on you tube it was actually an 8308 PN DEL (but this is as close as I can get) pulling these PN71's I remember seeing these two loco's getting set on the tracks after being brought to Brisbane by Boat and getting their final Fit out.. they spent 3 days working on the new loco's before they hauled them out in the early hours of the morning, to be caught by a train Spotter at Glass house..

See even here trucks do not win in a fight... stop before you cross....

What resolution do you run Trainz on? I found that Trainz runs Pofig's stuff without a stutter on 1920 x 1080 in windowed mode.
