Australian screenshots

Only 4 S class steamers were built, from S300 to S303, none of which were preserved, but one chap did build a 5 inch gauge, unstreamlined S class, numbering it S304.

I thought I would try some of those flash new Rails but alas even with my huge PC I lost 25 FPS on the busy sections of track. but I thought I show you guys what I came up with......

I think pretty nice..

Good evening all,

Well, its that time of year again, but this year, aside from all the other celebrations, we organised a three day Christmas tour. To do so, I slapped a 'Special' headboard on our K class and hooked up and consist, including some extra fuel...

...the first stop on the tour, Tallarat... a steamy entrance to say the least...

Very nice shots again everyone is working hard to get their routes upto speed.

As you can se from my shots I too tried some very nice tracks but I had a 25fps hit from it so I figured I could do without. as I have so much other eye candy in my route I'd let it go at that...

I also fixed an error I have missed all this time in my trackage..

targanon_20111221_0001.jpg

The above images shows the blue line that was my track run.. this was incorrect and the red lines show the track I had to place to make it correct ... it makes a lot more sense down there now...

I have also replaced the repeater with a unit closer to the actually thing.. soon as I get images I'll create the actual unit.. its also double sided so I'll need to scratch build it..

Thanks for the compliments Yes my map will be finished lol, The first two stages of my work those being the Roma st module and Ferny Grove line are out for what i hope is final testing. Pending the outcome of the testing and any adjustments i am hoping to have it out soon. The next section that will follow Ferny Grove and Roma st i will start on Boxing Day to put the finishing touches to.

In regards to the 1200 class yes it is Dreddmans.

Just a few quick screens of the progress of my SCT/LDP/WH/TT/etc. Class:

Handrails, some underbody stuff and the bogies still to be done but I think the main body should be finished in a week's time. Then on to the bogies.

A Merry Christmas to all, a Happy New Year too but do not partake into too much of the amber fluid or my pub might get short supplies :hehe: .

Cheers

same track as Ghostryder has posted the location of ....

I'm not saying it was good the difference was worth 25 fps.. on my route

I normally get between 55 fps and 35 fps with Chuffbuff track. however when I put that lovely track in I lost 25fps over what I had and my thoughts are if I loose that much on my PC what are others with much lower spec PC going to loose..

So I have opted not to run that track... for sake of FPS once I get all the track the same colour I think it will look much better..
