15 (SCT class), 9 (LDP class), 25 (TT class), 3 (WH class), 9 (GWA class)

Vinnybarb/Ghosty,

Further to that, UGL are building two models of locomotive at the moment:

C44aci/C44acHi (where the "H" designates "heavy" for those locomotives limited to the NSW Hunter Valley) including the XRN Class, 6000 Class, 5020 Class (H) and 92 Class.
Cv43aci including the AC (4300), ACB (4400) and 6000 class locomotives.

I'm unsure of the model numbers of the new CEY and CF classes being built at the moment.

As for the EDI builds,

V544(PN), Q301-Q319 (ARG) and FQ01-04 (GWA) are all GT46C (similar to the TT/SCT/LDP/GWA/WH classes, which are GT46-ACe). Obviously the body shape differs slightly between the classes, but the basic model is the same.

As for photos of the roof's, I'll have a poke through my collection and see what I can find, although I'm making a trip to the Hunter on Friday, so if an oppertunity presents itself, I'll have a crack.

Thanks go out to Davido and his Work to give his D class loco a set of NG bogeys..

Thanks you very much Davido thank you..

Uh, that doesn't look right! It is my understanding that the DC class were just rebuilt NSW 422 class locos (hence their intial ARG classification as '22 class'), and are standard gauge locos - as far as I'm aware they don't run on narrow gauge at all (may I be proven wrong though!). ;)

Come to think of it, I always wondered why exactly ARG reclassified them as DC class in the first place when QR bought out ARG, as the DCs do not fit in with the old WAGR/Westrail classification system they then adopted (the ex Westrail D/DA/DB class locos are exclusively narrow gauge and are a completely different type of locomotive).

At least the ex-QR DD, DE and DF classes are more fitting being labeled as such, seeing as how they're essentially the same basic design as the WA-native locos. But I'm just rivet counting here. :p

You are most certainly correct - they have always been, and hopefully always will be, standard gauge locomotives. Of course, Trainz is a simulator as well as a game, and I know some of my setups don't mirror real life 100% (mostly due to the correct locos being "missing").

Because they are mad!

Thank you mate for doing this, it will be a BIG help getting these units very detailed, hence good looking in Trainz. While you are there, don't forget to take pictures of the different bogies there too, if you can. Of the SCT/LPD and derivatives bogies, I have plenty of pics of these and when looking at these, they are VERY challenging to make so detailed but I have plenty of time to do this.

Thanks also to Ghostryder and jetpilot29 for their replies .

Cheers and thank you all

i'm not an expert on southern railways, the screenshot is at fishermans island
which is serviced by standard gauge
so it woud'nt be out place to see one there;) ;)

cheers,

It's not proto, it was just a concept thing. I noted that Chris wanted to run the DC on 3'6" so I just narrowed the bogie to suit and sent it along. I don't think I'll go any further with it.

Cheers

For those wondering i have not given up on my work just been seriously distracted by a few personnel issues. I wont go into details here and i dont need to be bombarded with emails offering to take over my work or offers of help to get the map finished. I will ask if i do need help.

Ghosty,

Stuff 'em! Just delete the e-mails and don't give a second thought to them. I consider it quite likely that most of those e-mailing you don't want to finish the route as much as just play around on it. The route is looking great (I don't know the area at all, but the scenery looks great), and I have no doubt that you'll finish it in due time.

Beautiful, as always Scott. Again, I recognise every one of those locations before I read the caption. The sign of a skilled modeller IMHO.

Hi Vinnybarb,

Ive sent you a email with a couple of images.

Cheers Harry

Those V sets are looking absolutely astounding Davido. Each time you post pictures of them I think there's a lot of drooling as a result. :hehe:

Seriously though, they're looking absolutely excellent. :D
