3830, have you had any issues lining the wires up to the OHW structures? My wires always seem to be higher than the supports want them to be?

Hello and welcome Mikkatrain.

Indeed a very nice looking model underway there, It will/would be another great addition to the Australian content for Trainz.

Cheers

Trent

Thanks guys!

Trent, nah I've had no trouble. Newcastle "central" took me an hour or so to do?

That's a very nice 20 :D

For those following progress on my route, so far so good, all the scenery for the last section is done, and I've textured 6 boards today, with 13 to go.

Assuming testing goes well, can we say "end of September", it'll be avaliable? I'm unsure of if to use the DLS, or look at other ways to distribute...

Hmm, I wonder why I'm having issues then... I'll have to experiment.

Mikkatrain, Thank you :D That Z20 is exactly what I need for the DEM route of the Camden line I'm working on, or will be when I recieve the DEM route from Patchy (not rushing you, Patch).

Cheers,
Evan.

Trent,
Daniel has a different version to the Catenary that's on my site because he has TRS2006 (and he's a good buddy of mine) :D
The wire spline you have is height adjustable. I set my gantry's up first then drop the wire spline down next to the track then move it under the gantry and adjust the height to suit. Once that's done for the first one you can grab the spline point height and apply to the other spline points as you go.

Let me know if this isn't your problem.

Cheers

Oh, so it's not me then, haha!

Awesome, that sounds about right. I'm always adjusting the height of roads and rails, as when using the tool that levels the ground out under the spline/rail, it always goes too low, so I typically drop the rail/road down by a couple of points to get it to sit more or less flush with the ground.

I imagine with the OHW, I'll lay the track, get the height of THAT right, then throw down the supports and the wires.

Thankfully it's not an issue on my end, that's easy to work around, no dramas. Thanks David!

For those following progress, I've smashed another 3 boards worth of texture. It certainly helps having a very set process to follow with texturing, and a small palette (a lesson learned from users here, such as 3830 and others).

im testing the latest export Z20 class number 2007, which is a kurrajong based engine.
the 20 class should hopefully be a pack, wheathered, cow catchered, etc
thanks guys for your kind comments

I have spent a lot of time on the maps i am building. Roma St to Ferny Grove section is as you thought close to being released undergoing final testing and adjustments. The support items i have for them map are just about right. So a release can be expected soon.

Wow! thats a beuatiful locomotive :D

Cheers
Stevo

It is Stevo :hehe:
But unless it is age related, I find I cannot see any detail without changing the brightness of my monitor. Simply cannot keep doing that
Can I be really rude and suggest the textures need work.
And as our newcomer is possibly also new to our Sim, perhaps some of you established 3D wizards can start and help Mikka train to settle the texturing issues.
Cheers
Rod
