I have some pictures i am happy to send, i get to see a near daily WB3 steel service. I do have some shots i can forward both top and side views. While i am on the topic of steel trains is there anything you would be interested in if i dont have it would not take long to get hold of some shots. Just a heads up 7WB3 is the next steelie due and will run through Coffs tomorrow afternoon sometime.

Hi All,

I recently contacted Willem2 to assist me with making a model of the steel coil containers(Also known as butterboxes) which are a common sight on Pacific National Steel trains across Australia,Bill has done a great job making the model with the limited quality pictures around.

Also I know we have a few real life photographers on here so if any of you guys have any high quality images of close up shots of these containers could they PM me as some high quality images would assist in making better quality static versions which will be released as hopefully static and product versions.

Ive attached a few screenshots of the different types that he has done.

Cheers Harry:cool:

Harry,

These look great mate. I have taken some close up shots of these butter boxes on my gunzelling days out in the hope that they will be modelled for Trainz one day, also hope that the RKLY wagons they are commonly loaded onto will be made one day too :) !

PM me your e-mail address and I can send you over some photos if you are interested!

Nice screenshots all, will post some shots of my new content soon!

Cheers,

Hi Scott,

the top and side view ones will be helpful, the larger the better even if you have to zip them will be fine.

My E-mail is still the same, look forward to them.

Hi Matt (thebigman), will send you a PM.

Thanks in advance, cheers.

Bill.

Bill
Have sent some shots to you, will look for the top shots and send them when i find them. Will also look at the shots of the other coloured ones that are running about. If i dont have them i can get some.

Thanks Patchy,

that will be fine, if you can take the picture straight on that would be ideal.

Looking forward to the holiday as well.:cool:
Just uploaded the Kingaroy Silo complex and it should be available later today.

Await your pics,

Cheers,

Bill.

Hi all,

Great shots from everyone lately.

Trent, good to see a few shots from your route again; looking forward to its release.

Steve, what do I say? Outstanding, once again.

Now for a few from me, of PL3 & PL1 flanking 4823/4848 on a Newcastle-bound coalie:

Route is Muliebuck's 'QR Filly Creek' with a few adjustments to make it feel more like NSW; being mainly signaling.

Nice shots patchy as usual. Used to hate those 1400's with the dynamic brake grids. I called them Cranium Crackers, cause if you weren't careful when you got out of the cab and forgot, you cracked your cranium on them!
