I do apologise if quoting the image, which I rarely do, offends or upsets.
This shot is probably the best I've seen for track that melds almost seemlessly with the ground. Gem of an effect there, Mulie. Kudos! :Y:
Caboolture - Gympie North route news
G'day all.
I've been given the go-ahead by cricketstar to do the Sunshine Coast line, and I've made a few starts around Nambour and Caboolture. I've used a variety of signalling, mostly the signals under the Sig2, Sig3, and Sig4 in Track Objects, so I can make custom feathers for it. I've also downloaded the full pack of SafTran signals, and have used them as well. Williamg's signals have also come in handy.
I'm using Google Earth to find the track, but I'm not sure of terrain. I'll fix that up later.

Yeah, you're right, Jamie.
Doubled-checked a few areas in GE, and it was a touch wide, plus I shortened it a bit, but not too much. It starts to look a little cramped, otherwise.
Edit: Got rid of the larger Loading Bank, as well, and used a smaller silo.
What do you think of this?
(Ignore the grassy area, it's just there to highlight the changes i made.)

Caboolture Screenies
This is the Caboolture area of the Sunshine Coast line, with the yard area. I made some custom signals to simplify entering the yard.
The multi-feathered signal at the entrance to Caboolture Yard.

EL 3921 waits in the neutral section as IMU 105/103 passes with an express to Brisbane.

Tried to pm so this didn't clutter the forum, however... This is not critisism just suggestions for a more prototypical look:- there are no gates on the east yard either end, there is a ladder on the south end of the yard not the north, shorten the carpark on the south end to back nearer the ped overpass. Two roads closest to the loop road (plat 3) exit the yard both ends. Platform 3 has no roof on it only the waiting area in the centre. Look forward to seeing more of this area as it is one of my favourites.
Hope this isn't too heavy.
