More time wasting practiicng...NSWGR Melaluca Junction

Sorry but in the shot there is a point throw over lever in the middle track in the middle of know where ?

That 'throw-over' is actually for a crossover from two road to three road (goods line) - if you can think of something to replace it with, I'd love to hear it, I'm thinking it'd be a 'ground frame' controlled lever, as from a OH&S viewpoint, they'd have sacked the person who did the interlocking :)

Edit: Ryan, loving the shot of the "Westie" - awesome work there mate :)

More work...NSWGR Tea-tree

*edit* Duly noted, thanks for that Bearcat, your help is immensely appreciated :) (This is why I should have beta-testers before I release stuff :))

edit *brainsnap* screenshots taken before throw-over levers replaced with 'levers' - thanks once again to Bearcat for the information :)

nice work but the throw overs are a bit far away they should be right where the point rail just leaves the main rail as it the throw over that make the point slde back and forth.

Thats the lever and an item called points or points 2 that work with the lever frame found under track items. The lever frame could be away a bit and connect by point rodding or back to a signal box as well.

Throw over levers have no locking control and are weighted so by default they have to be held open by a person as the train runs through they would normlly be set to the main line when not in use. They would not be used on main lines only lighty used track.

Indeed it is, as 'built-in' to TRS2010, albeit its not 'realistic' but its a mighty close approximation of the real station. (No 'border' stripe on the end facing NSW, etc), but its a worthy inclusion IMO.

Bearcat, once again, thank you, you've given me information to work with, and I'm grateful for it - now to go through and make some 'changes' if I can, at the least, use the information for 'next time' :)

Hi all,

DL'd Pete's (AD602000) updated D57/58 locos' the other day.

Took them for a spin earlier, on Axe's GT-TR. Silly me chose the wrong spot to run them from, in the staging yard at the foot of the grade up to Georgetown.:eek:

I didn't get too far, unfortunately:

Beautiful locos Pete, they really are! I love them. I just need to learn to drive a steamer!:hehe:

Matt.

Happy to help if I can :) as long as not boring you to death :hehe:

Having imported Pikkabirds QR SX/SXV cars into TRS2012, they all show up just fine, except for SXV's, which show THIS....

I honestly don't know whats wrong, nor how to fix it, as its ruining an otherwise nice 'older' style QR passenger car....

*edit* its only the QR SXV 'standard' guage carriage, the 3'6" one is fine, go figure.

The peace is disturbed in the late afternoon Gunzel session as NR5/26 thunder through Coolabong on a PN Intermodal.

Not quite happy with the texture, I think I will change it.
