Hi Vinnybarb,

I downloaded your latest releases and have had no trouble with lag or anything else at all. I must say you have done a excellent job with the amount of detail! SUPERB!!!!!! :D

Cheers

Thanks for the great items, i have them downloading right now. I have completed downloading CLP16. The issue you raise comes from the fact that the config has reference to the following.

KUID2 184151:1009876:1 KUID2 184151:1009876:2

KUID2 184151:1009877:1 KUID2 184151:1009877:2

I have edited the config and removed the reference to the replaced items.

What? Which? As far as I know, they are all on the DLS under "TS09". I will d/load some of these myself to see if there are any issues. The only one I can think of is the "bogie" issue described in my last above post where I had to replace one kuid number by the next one following due to their (AURAN) false "unpacking" issue.

(A bit later..........)

Well, I d/loaded all of these via FTP and had no issues d/loading all of these. Except getting warned on the CLP16 and CLP14 there is a newer version of the bogies available. Perhaps this is causing your (location unknown" issue?

As a side note, I noticed some of the new AN Class locomotive still have the old TRS04 engine specs included. There are 3 different AN (AN) Class engine specs on the DLS, 2 are made by me and one by Alex23 (the TRS04 one). One of the other AN (AN) Class engine specs is better for cab driving as there (cab driving) the engine specs work different to outside view driving these AN Classes and the new CLP Classes which also use the same AN (AN) Class engine specs.

It would be easy for someone perhaps requiring a different engine specs to the currently used to d/load that and to alter the kuid number to suit in CMP/2 in that particular config.txt.

Cheers

VinnyBarb

G'day!

Well, in the Download Helper, they just have question marks beside them. And CMP cannot find them I'm using TS2009 SP4.

Cheers! :)

Yes, exactly! I uploaded these 2 bogey kuids with the CLPs at the same time:

KUID2 184151:1009876:1 KUID2 184151:1009876:1

KUID2 184151:1009877:1 KUID2 184151:1009877:1

and received an error message (CDP failed to unpack) which was wrong as these CDPs unpacked OK (see current upload issues), hence I had to resubmit these with the next number xxx:2 but as I also had uploaded at the same time CLP16 and CLP 14 (which were at that time still waiting to be processed) with references to the erstwhile bogey kuid number in their configuration.Another stuff up by AURAN, not mine. As long this is working OK.

In any case, I uploaded 2 new CLP16 and CLP14 CDPs with the corrected bogey kuid numbers in these. Trouble is, these might not get processed by AURAN until Monday night Oz time. In the meantime someone d/loading these 2 CLPs (14+16) have to correct the config.txt to reference the right bogies there. Sorry for the invonvenience.

Thank you to all others praising these new CLPs :D.

Cheers

@VB I have no errors on my CLP's, it's my computer that makes them look a bit heavy, because I have to use a windowed screen on my laptop, and it makes it different

I'd love to test the CLF's, as these were actually the 'frieght locos':o but they were mixed around

Hi all,

Some beautiful shots have popped up the last 24 hours. It's great to see that Vinnybarb's latest creations are getting a good run by everyone. Decided to bite the bullet, and DL 'just one':o, to judge my computers ability to handle what looks to be an exquisitely detailed loco.:udrool: Fingers crossed it doesn't kill my machine.:p

Steve, i agree with Jamie. A nice little park would really bring the scene alive. It can be a PITA to find items you need to set it up properly, but if you do it right, it's worth the effort.

Matt.

G'day!

Is anyone elsle able to down the CLPs via CMP? Because mine just show up as Unknown Location! :(

Cheers... :(

Jake.

Rastis - the reason they show as 'unknown' in CMP (well, a possible reasn) is the automatic 'update' of CMP hasn't properly come through yet, give it a day or two, and they should show properly, as I can't 'see' them at all with my CMP, but will wait until it properly updates.

ok awsome thats what I thought...

Well today was a busy day... Cattle, grain and passenger trains all in the yard at th same time...
