Australian screenshots

Those lander carriages look great, very impressive. Will They be released in other colour schemes, ie original colours? They would look great on my trip to Toowoomba hauled in teh 1950's in teh original colours!

Mark

you'll after ask wiilem2,he was kind enough to let me have a test run with them
he has done a GREAT job with them as all of his work

cheers,
patchy

What are those bogies ?

They look like Iron Ore Hopper Bogey freight trucks by Vulcan

Hi cascaderailroad,

yes the bogies are by Vulcan, and they look pretty good compared to the real thing.

Hi Ron, (misterchugg),
yes they are beta, animated doors are still to be added and a few tweeks
here and there. (Not long to go now)

Hi MarkNolan,

If the original livery colour is Blue then yes, see below.

They will be released in Maroon and Blue livery and these can be renumbered,
excluding the Special Cars they will be in Maroon only and are numbered,
1460, 1461, 1464 and 1471.

Hi Patchy, those pics look great brings back memories from my time in Mt Isa.

Cheers,

Bill.

Back to the 60's

Hello Everyone,

@Bill, Is there a chance of doing it in the old cream & blue of the 1950's to early 80's [ I think Mark Nolan was reffering to]. The Inlander was hauled by C17's & sometimes AC16's due to the poor track conditions. I have found a 'lost; picture from the Q.G.R Centenury Of Service Book of 1965 Overall pretty damn loverly :)

@Patchy, Just sublime.

@Petan, I am a member of the Southern Downs Steam Railway, I was ment to be down at Warwick for the Australian Day trip, but I has been cancelled due to flooding. I will be down at QPSR doing what I do best...driving :)

I just recived my DEM from Jerker of the Main Southern Line + Amiens Branchline, and it has 4 baseboards for 2kms. But it is the biggest QR route ever made, and i really would like some help making the trackwork. So anytakers? Please do email me or by PM.

Cheers
Michael

I think I made a typo :o , the original livery in the photo [Below] is that the one that we are both requesting? I would really love to have that behind a C17 class which were the staple engine but they did get supplumented by the AC16 engines in he late 50's & early 1960's on the Inlander.

Yes,

I meant the original livery which is different. They were in this livery until the 1980's I am sure.....

good evening everyone
i have some very bad news to tell you regarding my route
there is a huge flaw in my route it is meant like a nsw east coast with a victorian appearence
but today i noticed it looks like the west coast by looking at compass
so i will have to move on to new one:'(
tell me if you still want me to post pics of it
i will build the modules that i was planning to do afterwards
bye

What a load of rubbish! Mate, we don't care where the compass points, it's all about the scenery and the screenshots. Heck, I bet if you'd not even mentioned it, nobody would have noticed. We've all made a mistake like that before, I myself have done the exact same mistake, building the coast on the wrong side. I for one would be keen to see screenshots!

Well, if that's your only major flaw, then you've done better than me.:D

Raichase is absolutely correct; it isn't about route orientation, but rather the scenery and trackwork.
Hell, i barely notice which way the compass is pointing after a while in surveyor, anyway.
Also, the last time i checked, NSW had railway lines out West; despite what the Government thinks, trains do run beyond the Sydney-Newcastle area.

Post a few shots, let us see what you've done so far. You might be pleasantly surprised at what we think of it.

Matt.

hi all

patchy
are those trains in 2010 native mode?

if they are, how did you get them to show and work like that

i'm having no end of trouble fixing them
i try and do 1 a night when the house has gone to sleep

usaoz89
i agree that compass points do not matter

have a look at my caboolture to rockhampton

i never even checked the compass.

trainz89

are you making wallangarra?

cheers
ron

Michael,

I am doing Glen-Innes - Wallangarra at present if that helps. I would love for someone to do Wallangarra yard at the correct height and direction to meet up with my Dem data...

Mark

hi ron,
not sure what your asking
all my routes are 06 exept kingaroy
if you are having problems stick with 09 and run native mode
tried fixing all errors, faults, warnings and quite frankly it really dostn't matter in 09
my spin with trainz is 04,06,09 is all you need
you don't need anything in between
10 is a different beast
i've got stuff that works perfectly well in 09 and in 10 just won't work
i've got a high end computer, as ARAUN says all games should run on supermarket computers
my opion is trainzers need to look at their trainzoptions folder to get the most out of trainz
enough wafferling

cheers,
patchy

hi patchy
i have 06, tc1,2 and 2010

unfortunately a lot that runs in 06 will not even show in 10

most of the stuff for my route needs fixing

unfortunately for me i'm a dummy when it comes to fixing trainz stuff,
even with assetx

cheers
ron

hello again
thanks for the encouragement to continue:)
i will post shots tomorrow or tonight hopefully
i am thinking of a new route to do
the reasons why decided to move on from the other route is
1. the coast is on wrong side and i was planning in long term
add it a big route i planning but since its on the wrong side
it will look like a pennisula instead of a coast
2. i need to fix the water and the terrain around the water which would take a while
3.i was retexturing the map and i was halfway though
(not realy sure thats a reason)
also you give a sugestions on what to do for my next route
i was thinking something like the NSW south coast or a fictional part of the trans australian railway
pete - looks good i think thats one first time i have seen a 700? class
bye
EDIT: i think i will do a fictional bit of the trans australian railway

Pete - How can you just keep producing content of such a good quality in such little time? Great work!:D

Overland - Maybe try modelling a fictional iron ore railway on the Pilbara? There isn't much content from that area. Could be fun.:o

Brilliant shots people. I might upload a few later, when I get around to it.
Thanks,
Mitch

As there are several places east coast trains run beside a large lake or wide river, maybe convert the wrong side to a river?

Cheers
