Grandchester to Laidley opened yesterday morning, and we see some shots of a 2000 class running over the line.

Yarongmulu. I'd have loved to put the signal box in, but this is present-day QR - no garden.

Ryan,
It has been a WHILE, but I am sure I remember the cabin up there a few years ago. I've been in my section for around 7 - 8 years now so it could have changed. I used to go up there quite often. I've got a feeling there were a few garden beds around the place also although not as well tended as they once were. And then there have been times where my memory has looked like a piece of swiss cheese...:o

Ryan,

Were you planning to run your line to Toowoomba? I have built, so far, from Toowoomba to Oakey and Im hoping to eventually get to Macallister, so I can run coalies. Having your route would complete the whole run!

Great shots btw.

Cheers

John.

Hi Everyone,

@John, I am doing the section from Warwick-Wallangarra + Amiens Branchline but I may make it up some where outside Toowoomba, possibly our routes could meet up and form the southern lines?

@Ryan: What tunnel's are you using [becuase they do look perfect for my route above] & here is one thing you could use for going up the Range....in style;

michael - thanks i will try it :)
muliebuck - if it's a space waster maybe you could put a forest on one side and a town on the other and in the forest you could put a little cottage somewhere
just an idea

I know credit goes to Bill for the content, but they are some seriously nice screenz there, Patchy. Extremely well captured... and some nice angles... not to mention a cracking route! :p

This outback module has finally been uploaded... ;)

Known non-DLS content is catered for in the Route Description. I'll update here on the Forums if something else managed to sneak in.

The content is not critical but is recommended to add to the character of Flinders. In summary:
- Neoklai's animated people - brings the middle of nowhere outback town alive.
- Trunda's vegetation - many people are using this now anyway.
- Fender's yard buffer from Trainzone. Actually recommend anyone interested in 3'6" gauge, grab all of Fender's track and bridge gear.

Sounds promising Forestrunner, and as for why its not 'visible' yet, it could be in the processing que, waiting to be checked and will probably appear sometime (hopefully) in, say, the next 12 hours.

Raichase: I've only just uploaded it... if I remember rightly, it does take some time to appear.

EDIT: Scary stuff Mulie... not the first occasion we've simultaneously posted!!

Mulie and Forest, thanks fellas, thought I was doing something wrong there. I'm looking out for it, and really looking forward to taking a look.

Sanded Track?

I'll ask here prior to a wider Forum audience... do any of guys know of any track available with a "sanded" appearance??

I've innumerable shots/photos where the track is clearly caked in sand due to heavy grade working(s). I'm considering a module that depicts double track working on a steep grade where one looks normal (downgrade) and one is whitened (upgrade). I know there's a ton of lighter and darker track in general, however just wondering if there is any specifically sanded track.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. :)

PS Man, it's great to get some Trainz time!!... it's like coming home!

Those lander carriages look great, very impressive. Will They be released in other colour schemes, ie original colours? They would look great on my trip to Toowoomba hauled in teh 1950's in teh original colours!
