Merry Christmas Everyone, I hope you all have a Safe and Happy Holiday's.
Cheers Mick.:D

Merry Christmas everyone; and a Happy New Year.

@Jamie: In your middle screenie, is that a gyroscopically balanced engine, or is it just the angle we see it at? It looks like a monorail.

(Yeah, I know it's just hidden by the platform, but it still looks like a single wheeled vehicle.)

Bill

Who knows?? It's a walker 153 hp:hehe:

A very special treat at Talongabah this afternoon...

scottling_20101223_0001.jpg

An Xplorer set waits on Platform 1 as LNER #4472 Flying Scotsman and NSWGR's own 3801 charge through Platform 2 with a fast moving express... trying to make Hornsby for afternoon tea before the long haul to Brisbane tomorrow. :D

Flying Scotsman actually made a tour of Australia in 1988, with 3801 fastened behind most of the way.

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

I'm not sure if it has been asked before, but where/when can I get 3801? :udrool:

Thankyou :)

Fitting the miracle of the install/uninstall/reinstall problems are sorted on Christmas Day. Just getting back into the sim... and we'll keep this lot away from the Eastern Seaboard for variety, eh.

Flinders Plains (CR Narrow Gauge): A view from the balcony of the Imperial Hotel. An unknown T Class shunts a few open wagons of barytes, whilst NM34 prepares to depart with the daily Mixed. The lines & shapes of both 4-8-0's distinctly different.

NM34 finally gets right of way to head out of Flinders. Many thanks to jmorty for more 3ft 6in rolling stock additions to the DLS - the two smaller open wagons after the water gin.

Melton Valley Branch Line (SAR Standard Gauge): An 830 class heads the Morning Passenger towards Melton Valley.

On the DLS tick the trs2004 box all the 38's are there, but only download the locos made by me under the victraiz modellers group kuid. There are earlier attempts by me which were not as good.

did I ever release the pneumatic cement tankers?

Merry Christams Pete,

I haven't seen the cement hoppers on the DLS and can't remember seeing them on VicTrainz either so, probably, no.

Thanks for everything you have contributed throughout the year though, it's very much appreciated.

Without sounding like a certain type of user... nope! Been eagerly awaiting them, they were looking really schmick. If they are anything like your 49 class model - that's still one of your best models to date.

If you mean something like the tear drop ones like were used on the flyash traffic to places like Murwillumbah and Casino, then I would love one, please, for the Casino/ Murwillumbah Trainz line by Peter Gibbons.

The reason you forgot to release them earlier was probably you were very busy already helping us in other ways, for which we are also very thankful. :D :D

Cheers

Forestrunner, what can i say? Glad to have you back in the route creation fold, and Patchy? Likewise, looking absolutely fantastic, both lots of screenshots are just screaming 'classic Australian' and appeal to me on so many levels (the fact I'm a country boy at heart probably doesn't help) :)

Hi all,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Hope the holidays have gone well thus far.

Patchy, nice shots as always. Haven't seen any Kingaroy shots lately; and it was well worth the wait.

Forest_Runner, glad to hear you finally got your Trainz issues sorted. Again, it was well worth the wait; and almost beats a 9 week old Kelpie for Christmas present of the decade.:D

Pete, seriously, haven't you done enough for everyone this year? There has been some quality content released by you in 2010; I don't know why you think we need more. Although a late present from yourself to the Aussie community is quite a nice thought.:p

Cheers,

Matt.

the cement tankers are over at victrainz, you will find the link in the thread in content release announcements.

I am going to double check the suburban cars before release in the next day or two.

cheers

How's that for timing? I clicked onto your thread on Victrainz and started downloading the cement wagons, and then thought to return here to let people know you'd put them up. I must have stumbled into your thread on Victrainz seconds after you posted it! :hehe:

Thanks Pete, looking forward to having a go in game now.

OK the suburban end platform cars are over at victrainz in the content release announcement forum
WARNING; this is a large cdp (11mb) containing CCA,FO,HFO,LBB,LFA and the unusual RG a special car for Racing greyhounds and their trainers, so downloading will take a while.

cheers
