Australian screenshots

Hi all,

Love the screenies that have appeared today.

:Y:Big thanks to Pete (aka AD602000) for making the majority of those shots possible.:Y: Christmas gifts this year were delayed slightly, however it was well worth the wait, as always.

Forest_Runner, good to see you back in the game, making everyone else's work look like s***, but in a good way.:hehe:

Cheers,

Matt.

Wow Factor

I can certainly say back at ya, Patchy.

That set of shots were simply wonderful. What made them is the undulating roads... a beautiful effect and one of realism. Face it, 99% of routes (mine included) just don't feature this.

Your project is coming along wonderfully well!

I'm sorry you guys feel like this. I've absolutely no intention to belittle or discourage anyone's contrinution to this thread and this wonderful sim.

I do find the comments negative, with consideration to the effect they may have on other Trainzers... especially those new to the hobby. Nobody should be discouraged or made to feel inferior around here.

My screens today were a genuine heartfelt thanks to one of our great content creators, who churns out stuff faster than an Australian batsman being dismissed. If anything, accolades and acknowledgement should be directed towards Pete. Plus, go get the content if you don't already have it!!

Forest Runner
You have nothing to be sorry about. Your work is appreciated here, When i first first started i was in awe of some of the sceenshot posted by muliebuck and others, their work was much better than what i was putting out at the time, but it inspired me to do better and produce better stuff. The only time i listen to negative comments if its in relation to beta testing. Keep makinfg the maps the way you want and makes you happy, afterall its your work and ifyour the only one that likes it then that enough if others dont like it its not your fault. So keep up the great works mate.

who churns out stuff faster
I dont think so, Most of this stuff has been on the go for many months tinkered with, discarded, a quick project till I'm ready to go with the original again. Then all of a sudden I realise that a lot of stuff has been sitting ready to go for a while and then I do a big dump of stuff on you guys to clear the decks a bit. It's all fun though. there will be other bits and pieces coming through.

Forrest if you have made a new(er) version of the D50 I did, feel free to release it if you wish.

cheers

must be too much xmas cheer going around
screenshots are an example of what fellow trainzers are trying to achieve
this is not a competion here,if you want awsome shots go and look at east kentucky or bakersfield to san bernadino you have your usual idiots lookiing for a village and making some poor comments
Hey Bill, that would THE WINE express running on the kingaroy branch
keep going on with the good work from everyone and ditto from Ghostryder
Forest Runner, with the roads just lay them, don't try to smooth them out,the only problem is they do appear above the terrian

Returning The Natural Order

Hello Everyone

Forrest; Sorry for being so harsh, the truth is that I admire you greatly, and I love everytime you churn out those breathtaking shots. A bit of a friendly note: that 'NM" in the screenshot has a sedan cab & highboard tender becuase the usual Commonwealth Railways designed NM was based on the QR 1920's design [Original] C17. Keep up the great job mate ;)

patchy; As Riche Benaud famously says; what a marvelous catch, I personally can not wait until Kingaroy is released. Can I lend you my QGR C16, to use on your route, just PM me if your interested.

Peter, I love your shot of the C32, just another classic

Everyone mentioned above and everyone here should get a medal for being so great, no-one here is the best becuase we are all the best in our own way.  :Y: :Y:

Question's & Answers; Q&A

Evan,

I will email you the QR SC 773 Prision Van pack, please don't get jailed around with it:hehe: . Oh and how is the QGR End Platform's comming along becuase i would love to see how your comming along, and I hope you like my 6D12 tank which I am creating becuase i am just about finished but i have to do the texturing.

Patchy; I must agree with your statement; we all must be still rearing from Xmas drinks and some things we live to regret, but thats what I think, and I have PM'd you about my C16.

Regards

NSWGR 3265 in maroon livery can be found over at victrainz, content release announcements. You will need to download dependencies as well there is the caveat that this is made for 2004 and you may need to do correctional work for later versions of TRS.

This is the first of the 32/P class packs and contains the bogies, whereas later packs wont in order to decrease pack size, so if you want the later packs you will need this one as well.

cheers

Hi All.

I thought of something while browsing the forums this morning. And that is dasmith75 and his QR IMU 160 Series. Has anybody heard from him or seen him lurking recently?

Just wondering, seeing as this would be a great addition to anyone's QR-themed route. Mine included.:D

So yeah, just thought I'd get that out there. Screenies!

NSW8.jpg

The view from Ma Barker's clothesline as 42256 leads a short mixed freight across Palmdale Creek.

You may be wondering why I don't electrify the route and put Cityrail rolling stock on it. Well, that's because the really good Cityrail stock (yes Davido, that's your V-Set:hehe: ) is not quite ready. I'm fine waiting for it, but until it is released (if it is released) I'm leaving the route non-electric. That is, unless you want to see S and M-Sets all day.

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

NSWGR 3235 a 32 class member in green livery, you must first download 3265 as it contains the bogies. This loco is available at victrainz in content creation announcements.

WOW pete, thanks for all this new content, it's very much appreciated.

From one of your previous post, it sounds like you are doing a clean up/out of your computer and projects.

There have been some great screenshots over the past few pages, great work everyone. I just wish I was as good at textures and details as some others here.

Christmas Thanks to Pete #2: The NSWGR 421 Class Loco + NSWGR/SRA/FCorp Cement Hoppers.

Not the best proto operation, but just wanted to show off the content... we're onto something concrete here... :o

The classic contours of the 421 and exquisite lining detail makes this a truely awesome model. I remember these babies in service fondly.
