Dang Bill,
I only had the thought to re-skin the Sunlander cars to Q'landers a few days ago but you beat me to it.:( Ah well, great minds think alike. Good job old son!

Hi all,

Please?:D

Could I ask who the indicator boards and ticket machine were created by, and are they available somewhere? I am particularly interested in the indicator boards, as they look as if they are programmable to some degree.

Cheers,

Matt.

Hi guys,

haven't been around for a while but I am loving the shots floating around atm. :)

I have decided to give myself a challenge in trainz and do a life like build of the South Coast line of NSW between Waterfall and Wollongong. I have visioned building the route starting at Heathcote so as to get the yards in at Waterfall and finish the line at Coniston so as to get the yards in at Wollongong. The only trouble is I have not had any success with transDEM in the past so I don't have a starting point.

I wonder if any kind soul would like to create a transDem map for me so I can start creating my local and much loved line? ;)

Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year and I hope we all get some great stuff for chrissy! :)

A very special treat at Talongabah this afternoon...

scottling_20101223_0001.jpg

An Xplorer set waits on Platform 1 as LNER #4472 Flying Scotsman and NSWGR's own 3801 charge through Platform 2 with a fast moving express... trying to make Hornsby for afternoon tea before the long haul to Brisbane tomorrow. :D

Flying Scotsman actually made a tour of Australia in 1988, with 3801 fastened behind most of the way.

Happy Trainzing,;)

Roma street platform 2, here we come

Right you are there, Cricketstar.:D I would have paid to see that!

Anyway, one last shot from Talongabah before I move on to other parts of the line.

Night running in Talongabah. 8221 and a Bicentennial livery 8174 roll through as the weather worsens to a typical summer storm. Those who watch storm clouds forming will know what I'm talking about.

Tomorrow, I want to be far, far away from here, off towards the next, probably larger, station.

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.

why pay when it can be done it trainz soon
update: got a few roads done on the Mayne yard and all tracks and junctions done up to virginia and south to the tunnels of south bank / park road

Zec or anyone,

I am missing a hornsound for Zec's new Christmas Loco kuid:126323:54505 would anyone have an idea where I may find this?

Merry Christmas and a Happy New to all

Congratulations to everyone for their screenshots of late, the work has been quite inspiring.

:):):)

seeseeme, this was discussed a while back for when Zec generously released the F class tank for us. Just replace the hornsound with that from Zec's Z class tank.

My 1000th post, and I'm using it here,

Very Nice shots all

Poul, why is there a car from the '20's and a car from '08 together?? :o

Scott, what are all the textures in your shot?? Are they Oz ______

Hey Everyone!

Guessing no-one knew of any crossing lights like I asked? Oh well...

I wanna thank a mysterious trainzer that sent me a 20% discount voucher. It was much appreciated! Thank you.

Mitchey

MY PROJECT I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON FOR SOME TIME

loltrains-1.png

still a lot of work to go can anyone give me some advise on how to get the performance better i have a decent graphics card but the amount of content in this route is making it lag ? thenks glenn

Mitchey, I know there is a static (non light) crossing sign like the one you're referring to on the DLS (I think it's part of the AU roadsigns pack), but it lacks the light targets and the boom barrier (it's just a static road sign).

I've just checked it in CMP and it's 'WS Rail Xing Red Square', made by prr001 - KUID:45707:40604.

Hopefully this has helped. :)

As a side note, I've been slowly going over all of Prr001's content (his roadsigns, etc etc etc) and making them error free (not hard, just time consuming), and really should ask him one day, if they can be 'released' as updates, as they're perfect for a lot of Aussie routes and such.

Tallmike, cheers for that.

Tomorrow, I want to be far, far away from here, off towards the next, probably larger, station.

Scottling, good luck with that. I've said that many a time, and gotten absolutely nowhere.*roll eyes* Not that I'm trying to jinx you, or anything.:p

EDIT: Forgot something. Tallmiketc; If it's not too much trouble, could you post a few shots of your urban areas around stations? I have a small suburban electrified route on the go myself, and i could use a few pointers in that area.

Don't worry if you don't wish too. I understand, and look forward to seeing whatever shots you do post.

Cheers,

Matt.
