G'day Michael, Thanks for that. Keep working on your studies.

Great shots everybody, keep them coming.

I do indeed like the headlight effect on the PB15 :Y: The turnout on the right of the pic looks a tad tight though. I must get myself out of this UK route building and back into recreating the days of proper trains in Australia. Also, depending on how things go with Gmax, I may need someone to do the exporting of the mesh for me as Gmax is being a *$@#& and the trainz game pack just won't work.

Here's an old screenshot from TRS2004:

The D4 class tank arrives with it's local service after holding up two goods trains in the sidings which further delayed another four services in both directions as a result.

QR National CLP

Hi all, I do have a request please, beside just giving you a further quick update of my current CLP/CLF Class project:

cl1.jpg

cl3.jpg

cl4.jpg

Please ignore the below the body bits as they are only there to get the proportions right. Also the bogies are not the right ones, they are only there to get the CLP 16 into the game. Nor is the shadow and some of the coronas correct as the scripting is not done yet for it.

I still have to paint the cover battens for the side panels as well as the side screws on it to match the paint they are covering etc. On top, only the round skylights have been boolean inserted, no grills, cover panels and openings done there yet.

My request is, does anyone have any top screen shots or know of any of the CLP/CLF Class that show the 2 front fans, what they look like and their proportions/size in relation to the 3 rear fans. As well as any other bits and pieces needed on top of the CLP/CLF Class, like airconditioner etc. as I looked high and low for any top only screen shots for them but so far I have been unsuccessful in finding any clear and good ones on the internet.

It is no good posting this request in the Content Creators forum as not too many Oz viewers look into it, hence my posting of this request here. Which is after all screenshot forum, so please excuse my request for information here :p

Thanking you in advance for any help

Cheers

VinnyBarb

From a bygone era.

C-17 974 pauses to service the track gang camp.

42103/42107 slow down as they are greeted with the call P-A-A-A-A-A-P-E-E-E-R from the ganger to allow passengers to donate papers periodicals to the gang as the train passes through.

Thanks this will cheese a few off, it took about 5 minutes to throw that together just a little boredom work in progress. Seriously now its nice to be able to recreate those scenes long removed from day to day rail ops. Thanks to Willem2 for creating the ganger tents they fit the bill perfectly.

.

Forest_Runner,

What an exquisite scene!.
Your texturing is fantastic, choice of scenery items tremendous, & I really do feel 'there'.
You take me right back to the late 1980's, when passing through Marree & regions,SA. :D:wave:

patchy,
Some would say that is a pretty big change, going from "toy trains" to "real trains" (as I said, some, IRL, not me). Some top notch pictures being posted in here lately. Keep up the good work guys.

trainz2010

can someone tell me how i can get trainz2004 stuff to work in 2010 because some of my stuff is not work and i have used cmp

EL3136
COntent from 2004 is often outdated and may not work in TRS2010. If you are transferring them into 2010 using CMP then I dont think I can be much help.

Try downloading fresh content for TRS2010 and see if that works. Keep in mind that most TRS2006 and TRS2009 stuff can be transferred to 2010.

Cheers

John.

Oh John; I have the same issue but as you reported: their are indeed ways of getting over it. I do what you mentioned; update content to meet requirements.

Lastly; Scott; could I possibly see my QGR C16 in action, please?. Lets show the foamers what QGR Is REALLY made off.:hehe:

Thanks for the wrap, Noel. The use of buildings and objects were inspired by a visit to the Flinders Ranges in April this year.

However it's funny how things work out. I consider my texturing quite awful... that's why I use grass to disguise it... and I rarely take downward looking shots. :hehe:
