I hert's defence, he did say an AUSSIE passenger train, not making it really specific haha. :)

That's an excellent point, Jneil. Also, to further Hert's defence, he's a Yank!

Don't you guys know they like to do things their own way?:p

Forest, nice shots. I'm going to 'borrow' a few ideas from them, if you don't mind (and even if you do!:hehe:)

Matt.

Hi All, some old images of a route I'm working on,

1900's Queenscliff with No.2 Crane running a ballast load to South Geelong.

That's some quality stuff there Ghosty... real, real nice!

Forest, nice shots. I'm going to 'borrow' a few ideas from them, if you don't mind (and even if you do!:hehe:)

Matt.

Feel free, Matt. It's the main reason I post.

It's also how I did it. Originally I "borrowed" from axe and Mulie... then add some Patchy, Ghosty, Tanvaras, Rastis and touch of my own ideas, and I'm at where I am. There's no better way to learn this gig I reckon.

Keeping in the spirit, a couple of Georgetown-Tarin Rocks (NSW 80's) shots... appropriate considering where I formed my original ideas.

QGR Southport; Revisted

Hello Gang;

Bill: Champion effort because I am so going to us that in my Main Southern Railway..well most of it. I just need your help for Three station's: Warwick, Cottonvale & Stanthorpe.

Evan: I didn't get a chance to reply to your email due to my studies, but I will be down at the exact spot this weekend and will be going down to ARHS Rosewood Railway. I am going to have a chock'ers of a time :p

I am feeling the burn form the Ashes Series; anyway back to Trainz. I have come back and reworked my QGR SCL: Southport - Helensvale Section. The results were dumbfounding. The route is a Post War (1949-1953) representation. I have added some nice touches that are typical of Queensland such as;
  • Junk under Queenslander houses with a chap drinking XXXX or VB!
  • Holden FJ
  • Kangaroo's & Box Bark Forest's
  • QR "Red Railmotor or Boneshakers"
  • Slightly Overgrown Yards & J.B Timber Yard.
Now for he results........
