Beautiful shot!! Love the angle... the sky... and the undulating fence line... and the near-silhouette of the combined semaphore is the icing on the cake!! Inspirational to anyone browsing this thread.

Loving the QR 3'6" progress Ghosty (nice gauge to model full stop!).

Bill... you realise you can forget about that gear being used as solely QR, don't you... cracking content there. I'll grab every piece of that!

I would have to agree about modelling in NG its been great. I do have to thank Comtrain for putting forward the idea about modelling QR in NG. I would also like to thank the various content creators that have seen the light and have been making both NG track and or adding NG wheelsets options to any QR rollingstock they make. One last thank you goes to all the creators that have either modified their content or allowed me to modifiy it to suit my work thansk everyone.

cheers

Modelling 3'6" is a funny animal I think, Ghosty. From what I've seen in all my Trainz time here on the forums, most tend to be discouraged to model 3'6" due to the lack of motive power and rolling stock which has been "dodgied into SG." I actually felt quite the opposite and wanted to give 3'6" for this very reason  (go figure!).

Also my comment above "dodgied into SG" is not meant as derogatory or degrading to our wonderful content creators. In fact quite the opposite! I understand from the beginning of Trainz, QR was SG out of the box... hence why it's evolved the way it has.

Similar to Ghosty, profound thanks and appreciation to those who have or are catering for this minority niche.

By the way I am pretty biased towards NSWGR operation... so it's a pretty decent sort of assessment. The NZ guys, and those interested in that niche, have done a stupendous job with what they have achieved in 3'6".

Hi all,

Some nice works from everyone the last few days. Forest, lovely shots as always, and i agree with you in that assessment Patchy's work as being inspirational. It is that, it really is. I don't know the area he's modelling at all, but i do love the feel that he's captured in doing so.

Matt.

Just cleaning out the Screenshots folder and thought this set was post-worthy... some different angles and view points...

Saturated 5121 is steaming poorly, and thus takes the Loop at Warrah so the crew can investigate the problem.

Nice hert
I like the general feel of the train
Queensland loco
Victorian and south Australian coaches, with cars going the opposite way:hehe: :o

Jamie

It could be in South Australia on dual gauge track. Doesn't explain the wires though, or why the cars are driving on the right hand side. Or how that truck is driving with flat tires. Hahahahaha

:hehe:

Bridge looks good though. :)

I hert's defence, he did say an AUSSIE passenger train, not making it really specific haha. :)

Great shots from everyone, especially Forest and Patchy, your works are coming along beautifully and I have enjoyed watching them develop from the sideline. :hehe:
