Australian screenshots

Message To The South Burnett District Officer

Hello All

Thank You, Everyone for pointing out this is a sceenshot fourm; but isn't sometimes a good thing to let loose once and in a while.:p

Patchy; Woa..I am impressed with your progress and I think your getting QLD back on the map here at Australian Screenshots. Sir, can you please tell me where can I find those Hefers, help would be greatly rewarded. I would like to throw something to your route; which I made out of pure bordem: Ghostbuster Billboard. I will email you the piece, I hope to see it in future screenshots down the line.....

Now some screenies

Ghosty, your take on suburbia looks the part! Great stuff!

trainz89, sometimes, perhaps. However, you seem to post as many photos as you do screenshots. That doesn't fit my definition of "sometimes", which is why I spoke up.

raichase, what's the name of that hayshed please

patchy, the hayshed is called Barn 7. I also have another one called Barn 1, which looks similar, but with less hay. I'm not sure if they are built in or on the DLS. I might look it up a bit later, and try to download any more variations if they exist (hopefully numbers 2-6 at least, haha).

never thought of looking under barn

patchy, no dramas mate. I have found some of my favourite content as a result of people asking "what's that" on other peoples screenshots :hehe: .

8175 heads westwards on the edge of dusk with a loaded cement train. Added to the consist at Linton were a number of surplus container wagons headed west for storage.

Nice Trent, am fascinated by this layout, I'm curious, are those Pete's cement hoppers??
Jamie

Jamie, thanks mate. The cement hoppers are Petes, but not the latest ones (I don't think they have been released yet). These ones are for Trainz (the original) SP3, and are on the DLS under KUID 63971:15005.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I would think the semaphore signalling puts that route waaaaaaaayyy before Ghostbusters (1980's). Besides the fact that Southport line has been closed and ripped up for decades.
Just an observation

Sometimes it can be a nice surprise to not drop in for a while. Wow!!... some wonderful works progress. Patchy, Ghosty, Raichase... I have one eye peeled on your various routes in progress that I will definitely acquire should they become publicly available. They look sensational.

Some from me. Tried Muliebuck's style of attempting to build an express module.

Whilst Rome wasn't built in a day... the mighty "town" of Warrah was in a couple of hours!! (who needs more than servo and a general store?).

This sim just gets more and more fascinating... animated cattle now... (in the second pic here, you can see some small black dots near the cow... these are flies that buzz around the animal's head. No kidding!).

How's a country lad impress a prospective chick??... take her down to the local disused passenger station for starters of course... bummer that 4908 with a short goods interrupted the moment.

Well, Patchy, if that's a days work, then i'd say it's a beer well deserved! Well done, looks stunning, as indeed all your shots do.

Forest_Runner, that's an average piece of work from you; i expect better next time.:hehe: Mark: 5/10.:p

Raichase, the route looks better every time i see it. Look forward to seeing more.

Cheers,

Matt.
