Very nice guys, although David, never knew that NSW carried their 'general goods' in boxes on flat wagons...? :p

Here's a few from me, now that 09 is up to date and running well...

TS09-HV-VR-1.jpg

T380 waits for the freight to arrive so it can depart with the 10:30 Pass service
TS09-HV-VR-2.jpg

S301 leading J541 and various wagons rolls past the home signal at Healesville
TS09-HV-VR-3.jpg

Applying the brakes as it rolls over the crossing
TS09-HV-VR-4.jpg

Entering the yard and slowly coming to a stop
TS09-HV-VR-5.jpg

T380 pulls away from Healesville and is seen powering over the crossing, trying to make up for lost time due to the freight being late
TS09-HV-VR-6.jpg

Last shot shows the pass powering up one of the many banks along the line

Cheers,
Tom :)

David, I don't know how you keep your customers with their freight boxes unsecured on those flat wagons! If you brake too suddenly, they'll all fall over! Be safe and at least tie them down or put them in an open wagon!

Ok will get it ready for the DLS later this week

Which trains verison should I package it for 04/06/09 sending it to the DLS as a 04 would give it the most scope?
04/06/09
I would have to say that if its for 2004 it will be available more people. Even though I still only use 2004, I am sure I am not the only one.

I am using TS2009, but it should work in all, as long as it complies with TS2009 Standards.

Thanks again ;)

I believe Pete still develops for '04 also, which is an excellent idea. As long as it works in all three versions, better to sacrifice a tiny bit of quality (which I wager most casual trainzers like myself would not even notice) to ensure that all Trainz players have access to as much content as possible.

That said, nothing against folks who develop the really cutting edge stuff for 06 and then 09, you get the majority of the players then, and can really push the limits of the simulator.

Well the screen shot is from 09, but I first created the item in 04 tested it out and then used CMP in 09 to update it. All I would need to do is change one line in the config and the DLS will see it as an 04 model.

All going well will package it all up later this week and then send to the DLS and then wait. If anybody wants to play with in then mean time send me a message.

I was just wondering if anyone out there has a DEM map for the Newcastle area, or even better a finished blank which I can put straight into Trainz? I am planning on building the Newcastle electric tram system.

Better still get in touch with Dougea as he has allready done it, I built the depot shed for the route and also the Newcastle trams, the L/P's as well as many of the steam era cars.

No idea where he is up to with the project at present:) :) :)

Drop me a PM if you want to play with the beta's of the L/P

heads around the loop at flat, boring (for most) Pinkenba, before heading home.

Ryan,
Just curious, is that a dated version of the yard? It has been quite a while since I was down there but I don't quite remember the loop looking like that. They are all great screens too. The level of pics coming out at the moment from everyone seems to be getting better and better.

about two and a half years ago i got fed up with this, because of a lack of decent drawings and left it on the hard drive. Recently, I found really excellent drawings for this and with a little bit of cajoling and excellent drawings managed to "persuade Bill Fock to build the bogies. "November" he said, at the earliest. I'm glad he doesnt stick to time tables.:D:D:D I decided to rebuild the whole loco, below is the result.

This is the first in game screenie of the worlds first Garratt locomotive The TGR K1 loco 2 foot guage from the north east dundas tramway, (sort of explains the layout I have been playing with recently)

still some work to do on it Many thanks to Bill for his efforts and support

Yeah, the scenery hasn't been updated for a while. When I went there one day (a long while ago now), there was some sort of construction (destruction?) going on in the background, hence the fenced off dirt patch out the back. My Pinkenba was mostly built from Google Maps images as you can't drive very far into the area. There were a heap of petrol wagons in the sidings near the entrance to the yard just behind the camera in the above view. Some looked like they'd been moved recently, others not so. I might have to go on a Steam Train Sunday trip to investigate further.

Ha ha ha this going to make you laugh - anybody want to help me out - I do not have the content dispatcher on my computer anymore - thats the tool that spits out a CMD file in a 04. :hehe:  :( :p

Pete

Beaut!

The Garratt dynasty is beginning to come together. First K1 and 2, followed by the next one on the DHR, followed more or less by the Vic G class.

Loverly!

- The weekday morning LVF from the Toll Depot at Sandgate in suburban Newcastle

BTW, Pete the K1 looks very nice. And are you still making physical rivets or are they part of the texture?
Daniel:cool:

(tell me if they're too big or taking too long to load)

Matt

(sorry to keep posting) - but Matt, these are fantastic. I need some more everyday "street" content for close to the tracks eg, the straight section around Tuggerah. These are exactly what I need:D Congradulations on the marriage, hope the weddings is/was(?) great.
