Australian screenshots

The 8am express service, 4774, rushes past a crew preparing to scrub the dining car that was tagged by trespassers last night.

Axe, you continue to astound me.
And it looks like the ten tunnels haven't been used in a while flewy69er. And Zec, the T looks great.

Just some upper short north places.

I have to say.... That screenshot looks like a photo. :) Very nice.

Regards

I wonder how it would turn out if a prototypical route included future expansions of the rail network in nearby areas (see indicator board - Bringelly - SWRL). The difference here would be 1 track more in the view and 7 tracks to the south of the station instead of 3.

Just playing with things.

Very Impressive! now if only you could get working screens:D

Now for a bit of fun!

I know it'll be hard as there is no texture or buildings in the shot, but can anyone tell me what this scene depicks? I understand already that I have a engine of the wrong class next to 13 but I dont have a green 23! :hehe: (Hint)
I shall give the answer later tonight! Have fun guessing!! :D

I'm conjecturing that this might be a scene from the 50's, the 57 on a down goods is refuged while the 38 heads south on an overnight mail... the S class is deputising for a failed Z13 class on a loopline connection.... Picton perhaps?

I see you the way your thinking but no.
It is a poor recreation of the sad scene in 1961 of 5711's last revenue run. There are pictures of 3813, Junee's shunter No.23 and 5711 at Junee Station before its last departure. :)

By the way, as those RUB or HUB set cars in you photos flewy69er and were did you get them? I must have them!! :D :udrool:

ah well... at least I was on the right track.... just heading the wrong way :)

I might just have to check an old tape tho - I'm sure I've footage of 5711's last run on one somewhere ...

The Candy carriages are Natvander's NSW SRA SFS Car Trial Version
and the others featured in my screenshots are ad602000's 12 wheelers, both are available on the Download Station

Just a little criticism to help you.
Your signal box frame must line up with your track. Otherwise you would have a heap of right angle cranks out there in the paddocks redirecting all the rodding to the track :D Ah?? talking about your track.. um? their don't appear to be any points that would require a signal box anyways??
Oh I get it. A Rail enthusiast has bought a redundant signal box from the Railways and it is on the back of a semi being transported away from the Railway! :hehe:
Cheers

May be this post should be in another part of the forum, but oh well :hehe:

I only saw the end bit of this on TV last night, but they spoke of a type of "Pay" Train that NSW Railways would send around rural NSW with employees pays. In what I saw some people have restored one, they may have been TAFE students. These "Carriages/Traincar/whatever" looked like only one carriage with a driver and some were for the "Paymaster" and others to sit as they traveled around paying employees. The "Carriage" was taken out of service once pays where deposited into bank accounts.

They also said that these Carriages had been held up as well over the many years they where used, one was even blown up

Anyone know about this .... or what I am trying to talk about :hehe: . It looked like a really neat little carriage that could fit into many Aussie Layouts.
