2100s during the 80s and upto late 90s, carried the "A" suffix. Before they started receiving the "D", "F", "H", some Bronco liveried unmodified Clydes also had an "S" suffix, eg 2137 S.
I have painted this 90 tonne Clyde into the early QR Blue and White, they never had this livery as it was phased out by the time 2100 was released in 1970. 2100H is still around today, QR's oldest mainliner.
I will also work on the more traditional blue worn by the 2100s and other 90 tonners as well.
This is the 2100 in the early QR livery and is also heavily weathered. This locomotive has the "A" suffix, I've also put more detail into the short hood (AC unit). The Auran 2100 class is the un-modified low nose 90 tonner, so adding the old style AC unit is actually very prototypical of the class.
