Australian screenshots

It's just another feature of the AJS superscript. It uses sub-meshes in the bogies to swap the wheels and 'frame' around. The 'wheels' basically means anything animated, and frames is a mesh for things that aren't animated but still need to change (e.g. brake shoes). You still need a 'base' mesh with the actual animation (and at least 1 triangle) for it all to work.

I'm hoping to use a coming release as a 'demonstrator' for the way I set things up :)

If someone has pics like the one comtrain posted of the 1400 class bogie with the unpowered centre wheel could you please email them to me. Plans dont show the detail and most loco pics dont either

cheers

Hi Pete, I'm Googling for 1400 pics and your right, very difficult to find any that clearly show the bogeys.

What you could do is, download the NZ DA class by Greg Baker and maybe have a look at those bogeys. The DA uses A1A-A1A as do most NZ locos. More info here....

I'm having problems with the Golden Holden in TRS2009. It does show up along with the rest of the 1460s. By and large they all work.

The Golden Holden has a problem with the numbers in that they show up as textured planes. Just getting blocks where the numbers should be.

I might just try and texture the 1461 numbers on since it was the only member of its class to receive the gold livery. Running numbers aren't really necessary on 1461.

They look "V"ery nice Davido. I've ridden them many times when I've visited Sydney. Lithgow, Newcastle and The Gong, always a nice trip in the V set.

Unfortunally not all of the class made it to "Golden Holden" status...........

Got all the 1460s working in 09, a picture doesn't tell a lie.:p

All three of them work properly in 09, but for some reason 09 CMP still goes looking for the blue paint job for 1461 even though it isn't present in the original Golden Holden files. This doesn't stop it from showing and the red 1461 numbers showing.

I hope that is a small problem that the DLS will ignore, I will upload them in the next few days. Along with the 2100 class.

This is the 1460s in TRS2009....
