Trainz is getting more like model railroading every day.
Where else can we forget the problems of coupling up engines on different gauges than there and here :hehe:

SCT G Class locomotives, G532, G533 and G535 are the numbers represented here....

Just realised the logos on the sides are too small, I'm attempting to fix it.

Dunno, cos of the way the template is with the G class is, it's not always the easiest thing to do in resizing the logo. If you can put up with the small logo, it's still an ok reskin.

G532-G533-8196 combine to haul a freight working through Wadalbavale.

SCT liveried 930 class?? Totally fictional scheme, SCT don't have any 930s although in this day and age, who couldn't say that some may turn up in the red, white and black scheme.

Just a scheme whipped up in dreamland.:)

V507 leads K103 on a down goods through Tooradin.

Further on, the train crosses the main crossing at Tooradin as it makes it's way southward.

Further along, the train crosses one of the many creeks/drains in the area.

A T class leads an up pass on it's way towards Tooradin.

Further on, the train is seen arriving into Tooradin.

But Col?
we can't see what you are hauling? Are they SCT louvres?
Cheers

I wish I could do something about the blurriness in TRS2009, but yes they are the ABFX cars. I've done them up in SCT livery. Just awaiting clearance from Rob, but I've been talking to Zec and I will let VicTrainz upload under their Kuid.:)

Gee Col
They look terrific!
Wondering though what the SCT Fan logo means?
In the early days they may have called them "SCT van" but now a days they use a larger "Rail" or "Logistics on their road trailers"

Hi Rod

I got FAN from a photo that I couldn't decipher properly. I thought it looked like the lettering once formed the word "FAN" and had weathered away a bit.

The photo I was looking at is this one....

http://australind720.fotopic.net/p44863878.html

Posting that picture clears things up for me, thanks very much Rod. I shall edit that to make it "RAIL"

I do a lot of Googling for pics, alwas looking for Aussie fotopic accounts as I have a few bookmarked. Can never have enough resources.

I realise that the red extends below that red line at the bottom, I'm not sure the mapping will allow for that though.

Have done a few searches but nobody takes pictures of carriages these days ;) However when National Rail told all their customers that they were going "All container" and started scrapping vans, SCT was born. They started out using the Federal Government to force National Rail to hand over the AN vans (rather than scrap them) and were extremely proud of their achievement making money out of something NR said was impossible.
I suggest without photographic evidense that it was VAN.
I would think the LARGE Rail came later on the new modern vans they built?
Cheers

Anyway its about time we upgraded the SCT train.
What about the bogies and couplings? Can we change them? Zec any ideas?

And we need some oil tankers and a repainted overland car for the crew sleeper :D
Cheers

A bit of both Dreddy, sometimes real, sometimes fictional. You never know what to expect with me.:)

Ron, the route I was using is the Peterborough route by pware. Highly recommendable route.
