I'll have a shot Dreddman, (actually it's more a stab in the dark). Would it be Brunswick Street? or Fortitude Valley as they are calling it now.

What is he doing back so soon!!! It appears chuff could not keep himself away long enough.

:o

Anyone looking for a place to stay?? It seem's as though he'd recently gone into the trainz real estate business making bird houses.

A couple of QLD Colonials coming soon in a variety of colours..

No stairs yet, so grab yourself a ladder! Perhaps he'll even knock up a ginger bread house with a bite taken out.

some great work everyone, look forward to seeing some of this stuff soon. and all i can say is i know the location of dreddys screenies but have been asked not to say, for the right price the answer maybe bought :hehe:

keep up the great work everyone.

cheers

well done Muliebuck both shots are indeed Ipswich. the first shot is Ipswich as it once looked prior to Electrification (and from my Ipswich WIP) when it only had one through Platform and three dock Platforms. the second is a modern day Ipswich created by another trainzer showing the modern era.

At the moment, it uses the BR Class 24 engine sounds by Wulf_9. I'm un-aware of how the 47 classes sound as I've not heard one with my own ears. I can't say when the last time a 47 class came to Acacia Ridge in Brisbane.

For now Wulf's sounds will do but if anyone knows of a soundfile that is available close enough to what a 47 sounds like, please let me know. They use a Caterpillar 16-D399TA prime mover, the British Class 24 has a power rating fairly similar, a smidgen more for the Class 24.

looks good mate iirc a 47 class has never been to Brisbane. as far as i am aware they have yet to travel north of Gloucester NSW. i have heard one is coming into this area next month on a LVR tour it will be the first time one hasd come this far north.

Hi colhand,
where can I find those open wagons that are found just behind the locomotive?

Thank you

Nicola

hi Nicola. I believe they are the NODY wagons by ad602000. Although they were uploaded under the Victrainz kuid I believe which is 1854:, so if you type that into the search engine on the DLS, you may have some luck.

Here are some more pics, LVR 4717, there will be two versions. I will be doing the one without the black lines as well.

Here is 4717....

LVRF 4717 actually has or had 2 liveries in its time with Lachlan Valley Rail Freight. This is the earlier version without the R&H decals and lack of black lines within the white livery.

Here is a photo of the real one.....

Toll's best buddies.....

Patrick liveried locos. None of these exist in real life but Patrick do have 49s, 18 class, 45 class, former BHP Alco 103 and 73 class. I've just added to their fleet a 48 class, 47 class and a 930 class.
