@Tom ....FreightCorp 44's look VERY ordinary .... I haven't done a blue one ....yet :D
@Axe ....Interesting lighting of the 09 ground textures...I think I like it. And nice shots again too Axe.

@ Scott & Zec....Sorry, but the wait will be a little longer....I'm determined to work out a proper No. 2 end cab

Cheers
David

Will put your skills to the test then! :p;) Actually the 422 looked best in the blue imo, although nothing beats 42207 in the lighter blue :p Hmmm, think it's time I got some more shots up here :p

Tom :)

I'm in no hurry... Especially if you get the #2 end cab working properly!

I'm actually contemplating investigating getting a #2 end cab working for the VR S class, when I get back to that project :) Would certainly need a script :( Really weird controls back there in that cab! :P Oh yes, and noisy too! :P

And a really bad seat to sit on! Ahhh, they were the days, back when Wally Rail was around :p Still miss them, nothing but an N Class goes up to Warrnambool now :( (of course with the added PN goods ran by an X)

Nice David, very nice! Although I would suggest replacing the trees with Boobless_Ed's gum tree set ;)

Tom I had to cop it both ways as a Wodonga f/man! Out of Dynon hostler end first over to Spencer Street Sit on the flyover awaiting the SOP shunt sit on the cars in 2A road and wait for the Motor rail and shunt No 1 plat when clear. Then on arrival at Albury hang around for NSW shunters, who always loved to block us in loco forcing us into long hours. If we already had long hours hostlers end back to Wodonga, after blocking main line and forcing signalman to send us back to South end. The South end Signalmen were gentlemen and proud signallers, as they dealt with Victoria all the time. Our signalmen could give them hell when the Albury pilot worked on the Victoria side.
Running the SOP or the Aurora hostlers end to Albury and Hostlers end back to Dynon. if relief was not available.
Did that for my first 5 years on job. No wonder I am deaf!
Went to a fortune teller once to humour my wife :hehe: This gypsy woman wanted to read the bumps on my head. Wife said go ahead! She got to the back of my head and said "Oh you are a train driver! You will have a long life, retire and move to the Country!"
As I was driving home I wondered how she could know about me driving trains!! But of course when you spent lots of time hostler end first in a S Class, you always had bumps on your head The Dynamic fans were so low you had to sit forward because your head would be hitting the steel frame on every bump in the track :hehe:
The odd controller in the hostler end was apparently recovered from the St Kilda Railways trams as they were scrapped. They were a much smaller controller than those used in the W Class MMTB trams. Their self lapping brake valves found their way into Y Class Diesels as part of the magnificent VR workaround when the State Government continually unfunded the Railways. Read the history of the Y class. THe Gov wanted the Railways to scrap steam. A bare minimum of 75 Y Class did the job. However the initial order was only 25 then 50 and 25 more were built when the VR recycycled Steamengine brake valves, tram self lappers, and ERD Electric train bogies, air cylinders and electricals to build one of the best engines VR ever owned.

nice, i like the grass and the platform! :) id love to see more lol.

anyway, a light derailment on the Wadalbavale Line today was treated as the largest error for the day, and a fellow coalie had to wait for the line to be fully cleared, which took a while:

DelecServiceCentre, where are them locos at?

St Marys on the Penrith side, Just up the line from the Junction.

Delec, Mate great shots, I love the Ropes Creek line ( Living Near it and all ) and its good to see those photos, Where abouts did they put them ? It looks like there just off the bend after leaving the main ?

Great screen Ghosty ....even better now since I have seen the real pics it is based on .....spot on realism grab.

A2 991 rolls into Tooradin with a down pass...

After leaving some goods, the mornings newpapers, and picking up some more passengers, A2 991 blasts across the crossing on it's way south.

Toowoomba line

Well, I have done the track between Ipswich and Grandchester and about to start the little liverpool range over to Laidley.
I havent put many buildings in due to just getting the track done first.
I have some problems, I dont know how to make grades like for exp 1in58 and also how to make a good tunnel without it bender to sharpe, screen shots to come.

I would to say a very special thanks to Mark for letting me use his 2000 class Railmotors and his other rollingstock, they fit the part on the Toowoomba line
