Good to see some Sugar shots,

Nice Mill Patchy:Y:

Well done.

Thats true!
Patchy do you know if anybody has converted the sugar bins to be loadable yet?
I have a sugar cane railway loosely based on Sarina, and I leave the bins in the loops as the train proceeds away from the mill. Then pick them back up on the return.
I was trying to talk a mate into building a MF Harvester, and animating it cutting cane and loading bins hauled by tractors.
The rail head could also be animated by having the bins unloaded into the rail bins. Or just plain setting a timer of perhaps 40 minutes on the loop, that loads all the bins ready for the return to mill.
I would then just push the bins inside and they would appear out the other side empty.
Certainly would make for an interesting layout.
Cheers

A couple more Sugar shots:

Patchy,

I forgot to ask you in my last post.
That silo on the side of your mill, are you using that for molasses?
Is it available at all? looks good. :D
what are the names of the buildings on this side of the mill?

Comtrain,

That would be sweet, I'd even shout you & ya mate a couple of rums to make that happen.:Y:

thanks torana
the items i think you're asking for are "CNR ash conveyer" i hid most of it
inside the mill and "concrete coal tower" it just stands alone.
it's apity the mills are just static items at the moment, but i got a few
canetrains running around my route to add to realism.
i got a tip to make the mill more realistic grab four "chimminy's with smoke"
and place them in the mill stack and you will end up with this

now it looks the mill's working
have a bundy good time
cheers, patchy

Thanks for the tip Patchy,
But that was one of the first things i did.
I use a brick one with smoke.

It is a shame the lack of interactive Sugar industry stuff.
I'm still chasing a bulk sugar terminal or something that looks similar.

Have a good weekend,
Torana.:)

This might help?

Draw distances and jerky scenery was my problem too!
Some knowledgeable person made these changes to my trainzoptions text in the root directory of trainz.
Might help you too :p

More to follow soon.

I thought the rest of Australia has driven here to QUEENSLAND.:hehe:

If Victoria is the place to be, why are they all moving to QUEENSLAND?:confused::confused:

Because you are the only ones aloud to post screenshots on this thread! :p
By the way we are coming in force.....with some new 'Streamlined R Classes'. (Read AMRM and you will know what i am talking about):hehe:

By the way who went to our exhibition on the weekend??

Cheers,
Tom

Hobsons Bay's? Yep :)

Scored myself a CFCLA T class there as well :D In HO scale :)

Was a great exhibition, got some new ideas, both for my layout and for TRS :)

Nice.... I walked out with a Freight Vic. X for under $200, a FA T for under $200 and a CLF for under $200! Good thing is theres nothin wrong with them!

I also got a copy of SP1 so TRS2006 is back on my computer.

I would have liked to have gotten a FV X or an FA T... Would have gone great with my CFCLA T me thinks :)

Not the best pic ever taken, but this is a closeup of my T :)
