Bout time you spoke up ...we need all the Caintoads we can find ...Sangate I used to live there in the late 70's early 80's was a quiet little place by the sea ......I havnt been there for years so probibly would;nt know the place .....Do you know there is a Brisbane based Trainz Group......we meet twice a month at Oxley.
There you can meet likeminded obsessed people LOL!

the A.S.G. was a nightmare inflicted on QR by southern states. they had the shortest working life of any class introduced. in fact of all the locomotives sent to Qld all but one entered service, and as soon as the second world war ended so did their working life on QR, some where on sold the rest were scrapped.

If the amount of rain was THAT bad then I suppose my favorite Caravan park would be well under water and with tents and caravans floating all over the place:hehe: :hehe: :hehe: .

Yep, the ex-Fyansford quarry (down near Geelong in Vic) ASG is preserved at the ARHS museum at Newport/North Williamstown :)

Railmotor 401 heads the daily service up the grade from marooma in the early morning.

What do you think about the scrub surrounding the track ?
Im doing that on the whole route insted of grass splines and so far it hasn't slowed it down to much but how does it look ?

Nice picture Electro. I was wondering why they built a platform that extended halfway over the track and then I saw the bogies under it! :hehe:

Anthony the scrub looks very good and realistic though I have to say I've never been to Marooma...
