Non-airs to Bloomfield Colliery...

Daniel:o

(tenders sound good pete)

Apart from having the standard goods around the wrong way ( outbound coalies were tender first) you're looking pretty good - you've even got the bloomfield coalie right using LCH/CCH's (tho they were actually airbraked :) ) ... Its great when someone creates a layout that is recognisable

I posted a shot of the original - from pretty much the same location http://www.pbase.com/stanb/image/91585649 ... may be of use : keep up the good work - hope this eventually makes it into release

for a teenager i think young Daniel has done well to recreate the Hunter area. i guess those of us who have learned about the railways either from the Railways or their employees can pass on the knowledge we have learned. i guess in trainz with portals and stuff we tend to bend the way things were.

Daniel

your routes looking awesome.

Nat
Your screenshots looking awesome as always

I have to admit that I agree with you fully - I think Daniel is doing a superb job of creating a layout that not only claims to represent an area, does so recognisably to anyone familiar with the area. As to minor details like getting the std the wrong way around well I cant really blame him given that most of the extant collieries, including bloomfield have replaced their exchange yards with balloon loops..

keep up the good work daniel. Cant wait to see the finished line

Ah ha another Acco, this time a Civilian one! Just wondering Nat would you be able to do an 1810/C (1710/c will do) with a tealy/aqua cab and a tipper tray? My family used to own one like that. Good stuff nayway keep up the great work. Hmm with Daniel creating the Newcastle Area and Nat doing an extension of the Waldabavale line and mentioning the magical place of 'Broadmeadow', looks like a great merger!

Is that truck you've done a 3070A? or a 1952A or 2152A? if its an A or B series it has one too many spokes on the front rims. They had 5 spoke rockwells. Great stuff nonetheless, soory to be a rivet counter but Accos are my passion!

It's ALOT easier to texture a 6 spoke than a 5 spoke, so all my Inters will get 6 spokes ;)

Nice work Bill. I thought the perspective was a little off. Shortening the top of the ramp helped a bit as well.

Good to hear that you are extending Wadalbavale Nathan. I'll just wait patiently for that :)

Chris

Loving the new wagons, Nat, looking sharp! Is that at a new town south west of Wadalbavale, or from your Glen Innes map? :)

Cheers!

I'm going to have a WSITD guess at the Glen Innes map by the looks of things, this new stuff is really amazing, very much looking forward to their release in the hopefully not to distant future...:D

The vaults at Cardiff Workshops must be over flowing, the Accos, the new Waldabavale extensions, the 44 and 45 class, the 620/720's, that coal bin which was previewed a while back. I can't wait, it will be like what Christams was when i was young!:hehe:

If only the vault was over-flowing....I'd be first there to catch the over-flowing goodness:D
Aww well...I think we should banish CWS from all "life" activities until these models are complete, would you guys be willing to surrender to these requests?:p

I don't think Mrs Natvander (nor Mrs Davido) would appreciate us being locked up behind the computer...maybe you should consult with them first...

Here's some quick shots of the start of the extension. Our budget simply didn't have enough money to build the bridge when I did the Wadalbavale Line originally.

I think I have a fair idea where all of this content will end up. It'll be worth the wait, thoroughly looking forward to this great comtent by CW.:mop:

Oooh, I see the fuel siding has had a makeover! Very nice :D. I would hazard a guess that you made those tanks yourself, or are they perhaps on the DLS somewhere?

That's a very long bridge, too!

Very cool stuff, I was afraid you'd have knocked the fuel siding down into dust and built the extension from there! As it stands on my version of the layout, I've added an extra fuel siding and increased capacity!

Cheers for sharing the screenies, looking great!

By looking at the amount of stuff they've already completed, they spend far too much time slaving over a hot computer as it is!

I'm just waiting for either/both the DLS and the forum servers to die when it all gets released. We'll all overload the place downloading it and posting screenies :o.

Up Cowan Bank (in the making)

Someone asked that I should give up gunzelling for a while and some Trainz pics:

(NR103/DL41/NR28 haul the late running 4BM4 up to Cowan)

Nope, sorry. The Gunzel Knowlegde is still there:hehe:

Enjoy
