Australian screenshots

Plenty of people have DEM maps done, and the software that’s capable of making them and are happy to do requests.

Just downloaded Hornsby-Wyong from Jerkers as a cdp file, unfortunately I am finding it a tad difficult to understand. Do you use it in conjunction with google earth?

Looking between the trees we see a heavily weathered X47 and XR559 loading a grain train.

Beautiful work Graeme. It's always a pleasure to look at your screenshots mate.

Great shots David and Tom.

Fantastic creations by memeboy.

Keep up the great work guys - it's what you do that inspires me.

Cheers,
Roy

Thanks Roy and everyone else for your compliments. It shouldn't be too much longer before I have the route finished. I'm flying through my list of things to fix and testing as I go.

Great shots Graeme

I wait in anticipation for its release.

I can only wish I was that good in the scenery dept.

I have Orange to Parkes as a dem. Haven't touched it since TRS10. Might have to bring it into TANE and start on it one day.

Roy,
Great shots on the Sydney harbour route. Look forward to it's release also.

Keep up the great work guys.

Regards,
Warren.

Nice Graeme I see u have covered most of the stuff I’m doing in my route, I don’t know if I should still do it or not.
i was wondering in that photo at Junee, what was that round house called?

Cheers, Ryan
Hi Ryan, The roundhouse is called "Inverness Roundhouse"
It's great that you want to modify one of my routes, I'd even like to see some screenshots. All I ask is that you don't upload it to the DLS. I have version 3 of Goulburn Murray coming soon after the main south route which will merge north of Mangalore. The scenery in V2 is pretty basic by my current standards.
cheers
Graeme

Riley, Ryan and Warren, many thanks for the kind words.
Finally had a chance to watch your latest video Roy, it really highlights the beauty of your route.

A couple more from around The Rock

Thanks for the encouragement Graeme and Warren. I get lazy now and again, but when I see such wonderful screenshots of so many different layouts by so many guys, I switch back on again.

It's the inspiration that brings out the perspiration.

Saying that, after a hard day of planting assets, it's always nice to sit down on the grass and admire what you've done. I just planted that Poinciana tree to the right.

Of course it would be nicer if I had 'coldie' to help soak up the atmosphere.

Cheers guys,
Roy

I'm liking the shots you guys are putting here, I love that bridge scene there Roy, the water is nice as well. Your Sydney project looks very promising, you capture its look and feel very well imo. :)

Good Morning Everyone,

First post of the day.. woo!. Here is a teaser as part of my QR Sign Pack, an 80s Station Sign and, it is re-nameable. I'll also be putting out as an exclusive a early 90s maroon version.

Coming along nicely Roy and Graeme....hard to keep up with the quality of route creation, but going to attempt it! Trainzplayer's screenshots gave me a bit of insight to add more red earth to overall scene, especially through National Park [Mt Ku Ringai] Here's a coal train passing Wondabyne, that tiny one carriage station in the middle of nowhere between Woy Woy and Hawksbury River Stations...[Blue Mountains Line v2]

Hey all Aussie guys,

I just downloaded oldguy's new route and session - <kuid:170283:100700> Layout #1 - Ambi - Route / <kuid:170283:100701> Layout #1 - Ambi - Session

If you want a smooth running beautiful Aussie layout with no missing dependencies and a nice selection of rolling stock, then you need to get this one!

Stephen, you nailed it man! You've certainly got the knack for capturing the Australian countryside, a great blend of textures, industries, passenger and freight. Well done mate!

Here are a couple of shots.
