Australian screenshots

G'day all, much closer to finishing the basics on the NSW half of the route, 12 kms to go.
A few pics from around Junee.

Looks awesome mate! Could I trouble you for an updated version to what I've got when you can? (btw, the XPT is right at home on your map mate);)

I've got a couple of blue platform markers 4,6,8 but I haven't gotten around to making the V-set post style ones. If you had any information about them and/or good quality photos, I'm sure I could knock something up this weekend. I just struggle with texturing stuff. Knocking up a quick box and pole isn't that much work otherwise.

Also, does anyone know of or have an updated content creators guide for T:ANE? Trying to get into all the scripting and configs of assets and I have no clue where to start on even the basic stuff. Any help would be great.

Cheers
Michael

Hi mate, apologies but I've been away from trainz for a bit. I have the photos you need if you'd still be willing to make them. Also, the blue markers in the style above were for V sets, Suburban sets used red markers in this era. Could you knocked up some red ones as well by any chance?

Hey everyone!
I got back into Trainz today.

Two decommissioned Q flats sit silently as time rusts them away.

Wonderful work Graeme. This is such a fine looking layout and beautifully detailed. I'm looking forward to the next 12km.

Cheers mate,

Great shots Tom. Roy and Baz, thanks for the compliments.
I've finished texturing NSW and just doing some testing and adjusting to finish it off. So the original 2 DEMs are now done and only the last southern one to go down to Seymour and a little bit on the Tocumwal line from Mangalore. Looking forward to merging up the mega route again for a couple of long runs from Griffith and Illawarra.
cheers
Graeme

Welcome back Mike,

We can all be distracted from what counts most,... so you can be forgiven.

Generally in my case, it's grand-kids who want to use my computer when the battery goes flat on their i-pad. Thank goodness, they are back at school for a few hours.

There is lot's of activity happening on the Aussie 'front' which you can read about on this thread.

Cheers mate,

Roy

Thanks Roy much appreciated!

Glad to be back and excited with all the Australian content...looking awesome.

Hahaha they keeping you young mate! No grand-kids yet for me but I'm chuffed with a new niece.

Nice! I plan to browse back the last 100 or a few pages and see what I have missed.

Does Davido still hang around the forums? I purchased his V-sets many moons ago and cant find the files again. Is it possible to purchase these again anywhere?

Cheers,
Mike.

Mike, If you've downloaded some of Davido's V sets, would they not be still lodged in your Windows Downloads Folder? Unfortunately, we haven't seen much activity from him lately however his website still allows other rolling-stock and assets to be downloaded.

Also check memeboy's site for a great range of NSWGR stock,... http://trainzelectrotransport.myfreesites.net/ There is also a link on his site to Davido's website.

Cheers,
Roy

I wish they were in my windows downloads but because I purchased them back in 2008 or 2009 when he first made them available I have since upgraded my PC etc so no luck their.

I have checked everywhere for them including old emails but no luck. I even found "Wylie's" train stops from an old hard drive lol but still no luck with the payware V-Sets. I will continue to search.

Thanks, I have checked out memeboy's site - I was very impressed with the Sydney trains they look very very good and have already downloaded them, I will also check Davido's website thanks.

Cheers,
Mike.

Zec @ You've captured the steam through the fog beautifully - so realistic.
Jamie @ You created interest - I love good night-shots.
