Trainz89,

If you release the Silverton Tramway & WAGR W class would you be able to put it on Trainz 2009, 2010 or 2012.
At the moment I am just dreaming of driving them! :hehe:
By the way, those pictures look awesome. I hope the route goes well! :D

Thanks,

Lachy
Lachy,

I have not forgotten so please be patient as I have other projects to fulfill and I am waiting on the meshes from my partner at the time who assisted with the W class.

When I acquire them, I shall update that and my SAR NG coaches to suit. They will be in 12 or TANE.

Regards,

M.Gitsham

Hello All,

Some W.I.P Progress shots of reworking the Old Ghan myself and Rastis started; with extra additions and custom content.

I forgot to mention (THIS IS A POST FOR ALL PUFFING BILLY FANS) I went to the Puffing Billy Railway today and I saw DH31. I took a closer look and the had changed the number back to DH59. For those who have no idea what i'm talking about DH59 was taken down from queensland to the PBR. They kept the QR livery for a while, then for some reason they changed the number to DH31 while repainting it to the PBR livery. It is still in the PBR livery but has had the plates on the side removed and the number was just painted on like on DH5.

Some times it a case of use what power you have available to clear the section

Would any have any idea if Natvander is still around the traps? I'd love to get in contact with him to discuss his NSW Signals. These beauties have been a must for the NSW modeler for many, many years and I wonder if he would consider updating them to include a few more signal types and functions. (Such as the more modern LED lights and possibly the older original colour light signals for our steam buffs. This could also include working Train Stops and Guards Indicators to work in conjunction with them)

No harm in asking and Id be more than happy to lend a hand to see them function as the prototype does. I have all my material used when I was going through Guards school would invaluable to him if he needed it. :)

Sounds like a good idea Taggy hope he see's this, Dunno how you would go with the modern LED thing though i doubt Trainz support's it.
Mick.

I reckon if you made a custom corona image, that had a lot of points, instead of the typical one in the centre, that might work.
As an example, some Cityrail content, possibly davido's has a rectangular corona for the guard's light.

Still not going to be able to get that amount of brightness though that LED lights have Rex, That's just my thoughts on it though and as normal i could be wrong LOL,
Cheers Mick.

@matruck: you are right about the brightness of LED signals. They are brighter than bright and can be seen miles away when you are up there in the cab - in the dark - in the bush - on a straight section of track. Murchison East is a good example of this.

There is an existing problem with signal coronas - they are not masked to stay within their bounds when you scroll foward of your existing view. Until this problem is surmounted, I don't think we will ever see LED's in signals except up close.

While I am waiting for the latest update to SP1 to happen, I knocked up a single baseboard layout (model railroad style) and running lots of NSW 'C' Sets. The route also has a dedicated 'freight' line with 3 industries operational.
