Australian screenshots

hi Roy3b3
how do you get full pic from postimage.org?
i can only get thumbnail to show
thanks
ron

Hi misterchugg,
Just change the 'Resize' Box to "1024 x 768" (17in monitor) and use the 'Direct Link' and not the 'Thumbnail for Forum'.

I've just added another screenshot of a 'wet area' through some mangroves. (Got to tidy that up somewhat)

Enjoy!

Great job Roy3b3, loving the screenshots of the Redcliffe line. May I ask what gauge is it. Is it NG or Std?

Thanks for the nice comments LittleBondi. As you most probably know, narrow gauge 3'6" (1067mm) is used throughout Qld except for the STD gauge 4'8 1/2" (1435mm) line from Sydney (XPT).
However because there is a lack of good QR EMU & SMU passenger trains available on the DLS, I have laid STD gauge at present, and it looks okay. But I could change that if I can get suitable rolling stock. I'm looking!!!

Cheers,
Roy3b3

I just downloaded the Hunter Sets, they are amazing
:D

I have to agree with you there! I've been using them since September and am very pleased.
Memeboy's NSW Tangara G & T Sets are also worthwhile. In fact everything he has on his website has great detail on them all.
Cheers,
Roy3b3

We here in NSW are very lucky to have almost everything that has worked in Passenger Service.

Between David (Davido), Pete and Dave (AD602000 and NSWGR_46Class) and Memeboy, we have pretty much everything. There are a few more goodies coming from Memeboy which I'm sure you will all enjoy. Currently, he is working on his monorail which is impressive as are all their stations which he has individually made. Most of his EMU stock is close to release and a few more items making this exciting times for the NSW modeler!! :)

I can't download the Tangara's in TANE for some reason and can't download Davido's DJM v set car

Hi maattmessi17, I saw memeboy's thread about his release of the NSW Tangara's, back on 23rd Sept, 2015 and his website ... http://trainzelectrotransport.myfreesites.net/downloads - His thread was called "Sydney Trains Tangara & Urbos Light Rail - Out Now!" which has all the information for downloading.

I initially downloaded everything he had onto TS12 + Davido's NSW catenary set. When I found that it was such a great package, I then imported the CDP files into T:ANE. There were a couple of missing dependencies, which I was able to find and download from the DLS.
If you have any problems, send a personal to memeboy.

Cheers,
Roy3b3

Goninan S sets S99/75 are seen completing their stop at Como (Fictional) while V48 glides through on the main with a limited stops to Central (Fictional) service. Taken from the footbridge giving XPT Depot employees access to their depot from the station.

Well said Roy, that's spot on mate.

In the content manager in TANE I was checking everything and what they do, I found the thing to fix missing dependencies, so now sonner or later I can start making TANE videos! :D

Awesome stuff everyone! Taggy, those NSW electrics look fantastic! Just a shame we don't have a route available to run them on :(

A Y and flattop T trundle along the Mitchell River Bridge with a short goods bound for Orbost...

Fast forward 40 years and we find C501 leading C510 on the 'C's on the Northeast Tour' ;)

Bringing the Wheat To Port

A bit of a northern flavour, from the Sunshine State of Queensland back in 1960.

Back in November 1962, after recent good rains produced a bumper wheat crop from Jambin, Rannes & Thangool which caused another problem; heavy overloading which required double heading to allow goods to be railed to Gladstone

We follow the 103 Down en route through Mount Morgan behind a weather beaten BB18 1011 and recently out shopped C17 1000, the last of the line of her class.

Blasting out of the Mine Tunnel and crossing the Dee River.

Well actually Lesley, I have a part electrified line that I have been building for yonks. The only problem is I'm rubbish at scenery so I never bothered to show it off. If you or anyone else is interesting in lending a hand with the scenery we could have one for all to enjoy Memeboy's excellent content on! ;) 40 minute run under the wires or you can turn left and one stage and run another hour with diesels.

You shots are brilliant mate, love the detail.
